You are claiming we are trying to deny that there is any problem with flower event. Unfortunately, there is one. We as team can't decide if we will send compensation to players or what it should be because during weekends we are not working. Weekends are off for whole team. And since this case is a bit more complicated, only developers can decided how exactly will be this problem handled. We will have a conversation with them later today. There was no miscommunication between us and our team. This event was supposed to be cross-server from the start and it is cross-server. This information is not mentioned in event rules - we will update event rules so next time this event comes back, it will be clear to everyone. We apologize for this problem, it's on us.

1 - Why did you roll out this event if there was a display bug associated to it? Was this not done as part of testing? Or any part of quality control?

2 - Why did it take 3 days for someone from your team to tell the player base that this event was not functioning as per the rules in the game itself?

3 - Going forward, what is the standard that players should follow? The event description as written in the New Event Cycle? Or the rules of the event itself?

Small advice - I guess if you don't want people to get upset, communicate better especially in an event where it involves at a minimum $200.

Coding on test server and on live server is a bit different. Also, test server contains more things than live servers do. Even after testing there is always a possibility that bugs slip through.

Actions were taken right after we’ve received first reports about ranking not working. Of course we had to confirm it first. I have mentioned this in our conversation already tho.

If you guys needed to confirm the display bug, could you guys have made an announcement that you were looking into this event and inform the players not to spend? A little heads up would be nice because there are quite a few players from other forum posts that spent in this event and are not happy.

I'm pretty mean in front of a keyboard (as are all internet warriors) but what I'm asking for and I know a lot of the player base is as well is communication and transparency. If you think there's a bug on the live server, tell us. Otherwise, what's going to happen in the future if something similar happens again? I don't think it's fair for some players to spend and then 3 days later be notified that the there is a bug within the event and is providing misleading information (the rankings).

Can you let us know going forward, what are the rules we should follow? The forum posts or the game itself?

We've received reports regarding flower event 2/3 days (depending on your time zone) after new (current) event cycle. We took actions right away.

I think they need to post the rankings ASAP. I am planning to recharge for the event because I already have 100 sunflowers. If this is cross server it would piss me of BIG TIME. While early Daiske can you confirm if this is cross-server or server exclusive event before we recharge?

I know you guys try to do your best for us, but when when you do sit down with the team and discuss how to resolve this, you should seriously consider to make this event server/merged server only for this time.

One of the reason is just the prize for being first. I would understand if it was a super rare ninja being a cross-server event prize for the whole region, but doing it for Edo Tobirama...? Seems like a rip-off to be honest. You could get him for like around 20k, and last time he was the prize for recharging 30k.

A ranking in a merged server can easily spend 2-3 times his worth..

I wouldn't be so sure about it. Just look at the discord channel. No need to voice up just blocked the player and carry on with the business. The fact they didn't announce it right away its clearly a rip off. Even if its bug and they notice it why no change in Friday or just simply mail player hey there is a bug. Not all read forum. Feel sorry for all people that wasted atleast 200$ and got f instead. Well played well played.

to be honest, i guesses this is a cross server event before the maintenance finish (from the youtube video i watch when research other thing in game/ new ninjas). It make sense to be a cross server event consider you may get minato edo or sage of the 6 path from the event (from one of the video i watched). However, a bug happened to paypal recharge on the first days so i can't do any recharge thus have no gold to spend to get ranking. On the second day it is fixed but when i look at event ranking it is completely empty which is very fishy. So i went on forum do some research and wait for a while. Eventually a bug confirm appeared and what disappointed me is the developer said " they will update the ranking at the end of the event ". Without the ranking how exactly do i know how much it is going to cost to win 1st 2nd or 3rd? anything below 3rd is worthless lolz...This kind of event demand a on fly ranking update just like how sakura gift work. Given the ranking after the event is over doesn't help since it wont change the ranking anyway.

Here full details. TOBEI already announced that the event was cross server ranking. I feel sorry for the players that recharged knowing that it's a server exclusive event.

You took action but you did not notify the player base until 3 days later after you guys conducted further testing. That is unacceptable on an event where the prize is driven by monetary value.

As for your QC environment, how did you guys test this? Do you have a test server where you have merged servers to simulate what it would be like if multiple servers participated in this event? I have a difficult time understanding how you could have missed this unless your test server is only based on a single server.

And can you answer the question about what we should do regarding events in the future? Go by what is indicated on the forum post or the rules of the event? You need to provide some guidelines so that the player base knows what to expect going forward.

I just want something done about it, 200+ is a lot money, i will of never cash for this Flower event if i had know it was cross.

They better compensate the player base because this is horrible. Clearly horrible. If they just apologized and didn't compensate the players that participated to get 200 flowers it would be considered as a rip off.

I am playing a different game that has the same issue like this. Spend certain amount and you will get prize until 5 days after the event they learn that there's an error on the game similar to this. They reported the game to google and facebook because of rip off.
