Good. Then let's finally have a conversation so the rest of the player base can understand a few things.

1 - Why did you roll out this event if there was a display bug associated to it? Was this not done as part of testing? Or any part of quality control?

2 - Why did it take 3 days for someone from your team to tell the player base that this event was not functioning as per the rules in the game itself?

3 - Going forward, what is the standard that players should follow? The event description as written in the New Event Cycle? Or the rules of the event itself?

And you only backtracked on the "your opinion does not matter after I called you out on it'. After you posted a reply at 6:13 PM my time. I posted this at 6:10 PM. I'm not purposefully trying to hide what you said - just that your message did not come until after I posted this.

Small advice - I guess if you don't want people to get upset, communicate better especially in an event where it involves at a minimum $200.


I'll post the rest of our conversation so that there will be transparency to the rest of the players.

Probably should have put a /s at the end of my message.

If you guys needed to confirm the display bug, could you guys have made an announcement that you were looking into this event and inform the players not to spend? A little heads up would be nice because there are quite a few players from other forum posts that spent in this event and are not happy.


I'm pretty mean in front of a keyboard (as are all internet warriors) but what I'm asking for and I know a lot of the player base is as well is communication and transparency. If you think there's a bug on the live server, tell us. Otherwise, what's going to happen in the future if something similar happens again? I don't think it's fair for some players to spend and then 3 days later be notified that the there is a bug within the event and is providing misleading information (the rankings).

Can you let us know going forward, what are the rules we should follow? The forum posts or the game itself?

  • We've received reports regarding flower event 2/3 days (depending on your time zone) after new (current) event cycle. We took actions right away.

You took action but you did not notify the player base until 3 days later after you guys conducted further testing. That is unacceptable on an event where the prize is driven by monetary value.

As for your QC environment, how did you guys test this? Do you have a test server where you have merged servers to simulate what it would be like if multiple servers participated in this event? I have a difficult time understanding how you could have missed this unless your test server is only based on a single server.

And can you answer the question about what we should do regarding events in the future? Go by what is indicated on the forum post or the rules of the event? You need to provide some guidelines so that the player base knows what to expect going forward.
