Decisive Bond Player Participation Encouragement

This new event has only been out for over a week or two, and 99% of my server already stop trying. It's going to continue to get even worst in the future at the time it takes during matchmaking to find people.To encourage more players to participate this event, I recommend winning teams let the losing team take out a few ninjas so they can at least make some progress collecting treasure boxes that require kill counts.

The purpose of doing this is to promote good sportsmanship, thus the losing team don't waste their time trying out this event. In the long run more teams will participate if they can at least make some small progress during this event.

It's what i hate of this feature. People show their greed and their uncaring. I've experienced too many times battles with a certain outcome where the enemy stopped my mysteries even if i had just one single ninja left and the mystery landing would have killed 1-2 enemy ninjas at most after which even on autoattacks i would have died. It's pretty stu(pid) as much as is the fact that if you win two battles and you kill 16 ninjas, after you claim the reward for 10 kills the other 6 don't automatically get added to the following counter, imposing on us to win at least one more battle than necessary, as much as makes no sense that I'm kage and i get chunin or jonin boxes. Wtf.

I think it's that they left their team on auto while they do other stuff. Don't take it too personally.

Unless Oasis changes the matchmaking system for it, there is no way in hell am I ever going to do Bond Arena.

its not matchmaking that s@cks. Its the ppl playing there that do. 95% of my fights ive had a roshi han sailor and water main team against. Its understandalbe losing to ppl with less or more power on any other main but against that i just stop and let it auto until i die of poison at the end of 2nd round. Its gotten worse than space time where basically out of top 30 players in it 20 play the same team i mentioned above. The meta has become so freaking boring and theres no creativity in teams anymore. Hell in comparison to that even Blitz teams and DBP Hidan teams look cute and fun.

The biggest issue is that it always fails to match because ppl "retreat" and the second issue is the unfair match making. The "retreating" thing just waste your time but being matched to someone who has 20k more power then you is ridiculous.

It's one thing to just be food for cash players (100+ w/ Itachis ect), it's another to do it with a degrading rank mechanic. At least in Matsuri people like that have to stop after 5 wins and there's no permanent cost if you get some bad draws. I just flat out refuse to participate in this, grinding out a few crappy low end ninja frags isn't worth being fodder for others.

Guys even the high BP people complain...i fought with my friend...his 98k im 88k for two hours had only one lost match and we got the blue package....like wth oasis srsly...the blue one...and on top of that I got for beating ton of ninjas map package...which is only one map...really u give me maps for my time spent there fighting even 120k which btw we won against u gave me 4 maps....the system is not worth my time anymore ...ive been on that thing for everyday and won like 90% and I got roshi frag only once my friend didnt even get that package yet... Really bad matchmaking...bad side rewards...the give away fragment package is very messed up...i win 8 in a row and I get the blue one...really? Never again

Everytime I do this new event I get matched with people that have 80-120k power like I'm down here with only 58k power like pass lmao

I don't mind generally what people run in Decisive Bond, my issue is when you get matched with people who have double your power.

A person on my server asked if I could do Decisive Bond with them, they insisted that it would be fine. I'm 50k or so with my team and he was about 40k lvl 89 and 83 respectively. And we faced level 95s with double our power. So yeah matchmaking does *.

The concept is sound. The problem is with how you get matched up to opponents.

The ranking system is complete garbage. There are too many times that there are maxed lvl players with 60K+ bp in chunin!! There is no way for a person just starting out to hope to ever compete with that kind of handicap.

There is a basic rule in military terms which will apply to this game. Mass or tonnage = power or bp

Simply put the more you have the greater the chance of you being the winner.

that's why so many players don't do matching opponent events (Just look at the activity in the Arena Ranking System).

If you want a more balanced way to match players there is an easy fix.

START MATCHING PLAYERS baseD ON AVERAGE BP! This can be applied to anything battle related.

This will ensure balanced gameplay for everyone from beginner to Expert Ingot Recharger.

It will also bring back the Basis of what this game is about. The Strategy!

I bet nobody can come up with a strategy for winning this underdog scenario: 120K BP vs 40K BP if you do please post a youtube video of it for everyone to see.

For the longevity of the game this must be done.

there is no or minimal chance for any Free player to ever compete against a Paying player and that's all good. But you cannot keep frustrating new players by continually squashing them. most of them will quit and the game will slowly die off from lack of players. It has been slowly happening since version 3.0 rolled out.

That's the reason why you had to create an event to lure old players back to the game after 3.0 launched. Just saying!

People have been crying out for arena change, gnw (pack related) change, matsurii matchmaking change (note, that first two are over a year here, idk about cross matsurii but still a long time). And you still honestly believe anything in game mechanics will be changed. My sweet summer children ^^

Is not so. Some of them do as you said, but way more just use strategies that ai wouldn't use. You know when a thing is made by ai and when is not. Ai will never heal after a following prompt move lands nor would use mysteries in a specific order to stop you if there is a better way, like for example using first mabui and then mei in round 4.

Another suggestion to improve the decisive bonds system is to make it like arena where you don't lose rank if you level up. This way elite players can rank up without causing grief to some of the newer/lower power level players and discourage participation. This may increase likelihood of better matching if there's no existing algorithm to accommodate better match-ups (i.e. average BP, server age, etc.)

Decisive bonds to work well should be not based on power, but be like arena for real, with basic level 100 stats only and initiative and rank should matter for the rewards and the matching system.
