Hey,

For the kage, how do we know what barrier will be up? Is it who is slowest or fastest. Position doesnt seem to matter much from the testing that I've done. Thanks!

highest innitiative passive barrier user will cast it, the others wont, be carefull with manual barriers because they will overwrite yours and you cant recast them, so interrupt is in demand for now

for us in s 20 the high barrier casts first and then the lower initiative casts second (not manual) and overrides the first i don't think it should work like that

I dunno anything about passive barriers, but I know that many begin of battle passive abilities(buffs, clones) goes in the order that the characters are placed/moved(not WHERE they are placed, but WHEN they are placed). I noticed this because it's very important for clone placements as if you have multiple "summoner" (naruto, kiba, kankuro, mains etc) knowing this allows you to control, to some extend, where they are summoned. This is also important if you use iruka with wind dance, iruka first will give you shield while wind dance first will end with 0 value shields.

I can't really see why barrier would work differently, are you SURE it's based on initiative? Have you tested it thoroughly? (different placement location, different placement order)

Aristeus said in another thread that highest initiative barrier gets cast last. So he must be wrong after all then.

it wouldnt make sense to punish a high initiative ninja in favour of a lower one for this alone. I havent tested because no one in my server is using passive barriers besides me, the info is taken from how it works on other versions of the game.

but manual barrier ninjas like sasuke, gaara and the others can easly override your passive barrier, so untill all move away from manual ones and to passive barriers we should run an interruption just in case

quick question for anyone that might know the answer, are the passive barriers suppose to just last for the same 3 turns as the manual ones?

the discription says nothing about that and only in 9tails i actually realized that the passive barrier lasts for only 3 turns. Is it intended like that? got a bit disapointed.

my mei always cast her barrier first before onoki. my mei have 1266 initiative while onoki have 860. Then we tried my mei have 823 Initative and onoki still have 860 but it's still the same. Onoki still cast his barrier last. :(

individual ninja initiative does not matter for passive barrier ninjas. It depends on when you placed them on the field. Even if your Mei was move 1 and had higher initiative, she will cast her barrier last if you placed her into her spot last.

The Deciding Faktor in whos Passive barrier will be up is dependent on the team initiative. so not the initiavite of the barrier ninja.
For example. lets say team 1 has all refines on 4 and has an onoki. and Team 2 has all refineson 3 but all 5 on the barrier ninja. Team one will get the barrier, cause over all Team one has more initiative and will cast it as 2nd.

if you're using more than one passive barrier ninja, the barrier you want to stay should be the ninja you place last. so if you want Mei's to stay, put Onoki in first, then Mei.
