So I couldn't for the life of me find out what the combo stat is supposed to do, because every time you try search for it all it brings up are results for the chases and the like.

And for extra clarification, I mean the combo stat you can gain from for example ninja tools, and now the eight inner gates chakras. Not the number that appears on screen when your team does hits.

So anybody know what it actually does?

I do not know but probably the combo chance by standard attacks.

The chance of secondary effects, such Sasuke's low float or Kimimaro's high float chance with normal hit? That was one of the possibilities I figured, but I haven't been able to amass anywhere near enough stat yet to get reliable testing done.

Yes for example sasuke's low flot from standard attack , but not sure would be nice if some knowlegded player or maybe moderator , gm or anyone who knows answer this cuz im only speculating here

Yep, this stat increase your/decrease opponent's chance to so something like "triple/quadra/... combo and low-high float/repulse/..."

it is a useful stat, however do note that some standard attacks have a sure hit skill that ignores any combo stat such as normal naruto and sage naruto. In addition some skills c*so not be dodged, but dont confuse certain hit with cannot be dodged because they are not the same. For example the fire mains second skill cannot be dodged, but it may not cause high combo. Naruto may cause a certain hit but skills such as konans dodge may make it miss.

Yea that much I knew already, since it typically says if an attack/skill has a 'certain hit' or some such.

Umm its an old thread I found while searching what the control stat does. What you mention is the combo stat: http://www.naruto-online.help/stats-guide/
Still no idea what the control stat is for.EDIT: Opps I found it. Combo is for triggering high, low float knockdown etc. from basic attacks.
Controll affects skills like Neji`s interrupt etc. although the chances of it failing due to control stats is very tiny

All stats work off difference between 2 ninjas, which is why you might find a lot of people saying they don't work, cause they have 2-4k but see no difference, that's because their enemies also have same refines by now, they generally don't do much until 2k difference, then it becomes very obvious that they do indeed work. Also control effect is not tiny, if you have 10k over your enemy you are immune to any effects.

dont underestimate the remaining stats as Combo- Control - Injury - Critical
i mean i know Initiative is the most critical one in the game but... injury is very good cause if you have high injury you will hurt your opponent a lot and at the same time you will suffer less dmg from his critical attacks.. control is very reliable cause you have a chance to have the enemy fail his accupunture / immobile /chaos and at the same time you have more chances to apply your CC.. combo is very good also cause you will have more chances to start a combo with your ninjas plus you will have more chances to avoid a combo from your enemy except the combo starters ninja's like Sage Naruto... Critical is critical we all know what does it do!!! :D
