[ Suggestions ] Change/balance the def/res growths of all mains.

Everyone probably knows this by now, but wind main is probably the worst main. Water is in a slightly better position, but not by much. This is a suggestion that might help change that.
The majority of people on my server play Light, Fire, or Earth. That is for a simple reason, which is that they are simple to understand and easy to use.

Light main, buff your attack as high as it can get and hope to kill your opponents before they kill you.

Fire main, either buff ur ninjutsu as high as it can get and nuke ur enemies before they kill you, or sleep/control/burn your way to victory with status.

Earth main, high res and def as a tank. use res to build shields, use def to tank attacks. Continue and shield shield shield... Either sustain your way to round 10 or have shields guard your dps to take out they enemy dps easier and less risky.

Builds devitating from those main concepts for the above mains are rare to come by and are usually not very effective.

The thing with water and wind is there are no real fallback strategies to go with, and their stats reflect that.

Water and Wind have control, heal/cleanse, and damage builds, but they are not really great at any of them. The reason for that is that they have no clue what to do with their growth rates. Their res is their best growth rate, but as far as anyone not a dev is concerned, none of their talents are based on res. So they go with their next highest stat, which is ninjutsu.

Instead of having their best stat be useless outside of being hit with ninjutsu, their best stat should probably switched to ninjutsu so they can hit/heal harder. When you are attacked and comboed, having high res will rarely be useful unless your opponent is using *l ninjutsu based team, which is rarely the case.

suggestion is mainly to have:
wind stats growths water stats growths
life *** life ***
atk ** atk *
def ** def ***
nin **** nin ***
res ** res ***

Just the thoughts of me and most of the people in my group.

To be fair, water isn't as bad as you make it out to be. I agree that Wind probably needs a buff though.

Water can have pretty massive ninjutsu which is great overall. Using a poison tais team, the higher the nin stat, the higher the poison damage stack. Get the right combo and you can outsustain plenty of other nins, and get through the pesky Earth nin shields (even though that element does counter water). Add on the fact that they have some great heals in there, and they seem okay to me. Just requires some very niche teams, that not everyone can get early on. Plenty of frustration from me at times, but with some patience and experimentation, Water can be pretty great.

Tried Wind out though. They just have an overall lack of control or sustain, so definitely needs something extra to keep beefing it out with other mains who just outdamage and outsustain them completely.

wait till we are getting more stuff .. water and wind have theyr moment to shine .... tho it is not now!

we dont have the ninjas that made wind strong on older versions of the game ( like playboy sasuke) and the thing is ...the secound you gonna have a chance to get those ninjas ... the meta will change entirely.
Just wait till things get added ... we are 2 years behind the game version taht is the most ahead ... so we all will have to wait :)

Clarification:

Pretty sure poison damage from debuff is based off of enemy max hp. (minus the initial ninjutsu attack)

That said, I wouldn't mind water having more nin for healing purposes.

Wind and water are based heavily on the ninjas they are with, and unfortunately until we see more ninjas released there's no reason to play them minus water outside of Ninja exams currently, and if you have maybe a decent kyuubi team with water(Which one be as effective til you have killer Bee), but heck there are still some great teams that can be built with them but currently they arent at there A game until we see the Kage Treasure or maybe even jinchuriki.
