A little lazy to post pic, bear with me. The question is quite vague, but I'm currently assuming you're quite low level. Here's a decent formation comsisting of free characters.

Sasuke (3*) - Scarlet Blaze - Hinata (2*)
0 - Kankuro GNW - 0
0 - 0 - 0

OR

Sasuke (3*) - Scarlet Blaze - Hinata (2*)
0 - 0 - Tobi
0 - 0 - 0

Talent: Dragon Flame Mystery, Fire Jutsu, Prison, Mirror

If your level is enough to use Oboro Clone, move Kankuro GNW or Tobi one space left. Gamachu is a great summon to go along.
1st row is protected by Hinata. She gets quite tanky after 2*, 3*...etc. 2nd row is protected by an Oboro Clone if you have it which isn't all too bad, plus a puppet for Kankuro, or in case of Tobi, he just doesn't die that fast.

Generally,

Low Float Start (Kankuro Sasori Pupper basic attack): Standard Sasori (Ignite Mirror Boost) -> Main Chase to Repulse -> Hinata Chase to Knockdown -> Hinata Chase to Knockdown -> Kankuro Chase to Low Float -> Sasuke Chase to Repulse -> Gamachu Chase to Knockdown -> Sasuke Chase 10 combo.

High Float Start (Dragon Flame Mystery, Kankuro GNW Puppet Mystery): Mystery -> Sasuke Chase to Low Float -> Main Chase to Repulse -> Hinata Chase to Knockdown -> Hinata Chase to Knockdown -> Kankuro Chase to Low Float -> Sasuke Chase to Repulse -> Gamachu Chase to Knockdown -> Sasuke Chase to 10 combo.

Knockdown Start (Tobi Mystery): Mystery -> Hinata Chase to Knockdown -> Tobi Chase to Low Float (Ignite Mirror Boost) -> Main Chase to Repulse -> Hinata Chase to Knockdown -> Sasuke Chase to 10 combo (may happen, may not happen)

Tobi and Kankuro GNW has the same chase (Knockdown -> Low Float) so it won't affect your combos. Although Kankuro provides you with another mystery to start a high float and a standard low float attack, Tobi has his own merits on Ignition bombs and survivability. Your choice.
Tip:
-The combos also contains Acupuncture from Hinata, so use it if you see a potentially fatal jutsu coming from the enemy side. (Acupuncture blocks the enemy from casting Mystery)
-If you think Sasori puppet's gonna die, don't use your Kankuro mystery until it's gone. Kankuro alone is quite useless.

Main, Sasuke, Iruka, Neji - for controlling their move 1 if you don't have enough refines to beat them.
High float into low float to proc genjutsu before paralyze and acupuncture.

Main, Anko, Iruka, Jiraya - for massive damage, no control.

Main, Tobi, Sasuke, Hinata, for all around good stuff but depends on having highest initiative move 1.

Main, Hinata, Tobi , Kabuto with an Ape

my combo is at 9
i use main, neji, kakashi and sasuke (3 stars)
i am lv 70

LINEUP__________________________________________________________________________
Tobi top right, Kakashi behind him, lee in the middle, and your main behind lee.

This lineup wont lead to any major combos (4 at most) however, it will lead to a lot of different combos when paired with the White Snake summon.

The skills I'm using for my main are: Dragon Flame, Flame Jutsu, Fire Ball, Genjutsu mirror, and Death Mirage. (middle row and the last one far right)

PROS VS CONS_________________________________________________________________

PROS
This lineup is good defensively, with Tobi protecting the relatively weak Kakashi, Lee protecting your Main, and Kakashi's clone protecting lee.

Lee's self healing makes him a great secondary tank.

Combo chain not easily broken by a team members death.

CONS
No specified healer
-- this is where your death mirage comes into play, helping keep your team alive through the dispersal of debuffs. (as well as Lee's self healing)

Can be squishy against aoe with heavy status effects; ignition, poison etc.

sage naruto, sage jiraya, iruka, fire main.... you can do excessive damage in round 2 and 3... sage naruto and fire mains mystery in round 2...iruka interrupt round 1 and jiraya and fire mains mystery round 3 for the kill...

firemain....sage naruto....x
place fire main first, sage naruto next, sage jiraya, then iruka for beat combo and shields on initial clones
use aoe fire on main, high float chase, oboro clone, and rhino summon
watch the pain
also good lineup in arena and survival trials...

how's the position

what I have been using is:

Fire main (3 star)
Sasuke (3 star)
Zabuza (4 Star)(could be taken out, I just use him for the damage,clone, and blood thirsty)
Kakashi (3 star)

Mystery: Phoenix Jutsu OR Dragon Jutsu
Attack : Fire style- flame jutsu
Passive: Phoenix chase, Fire enhancement, and clone jutsu
Summon: White snake
