He shields and boosts nin/tai attacks for all ninjas with the curse tag so he would work well with a full curse tag team such as Sasuke, Kabuto, Kidomaru, etc.

I believe his mystery conjures a shield that has the ability to interrupt a skill, and if it gets destroyed before it's able to interrupt anything, it causes tai dmg + knockdown to the team that destroyed it.

All in all, I believe he is used as a tank.

if youre water main put kimi in the front water main behind kimi jugo on the side of water main sasuke in the back with 3-2-3-2-2 talents and ninja cat pet. can do the same for lightning using 3rd chase and ninja cat or serpent with first chase.
these teams could be your best bet for now as a f2p player so keep that in mind as well

The description on Jugo's shield is really misleading and confusing, along with some other skill descriptions. Jugo's mystery works like this: he forms a barrier on himself that soaks up damage he recieves. Instead of Jugo taking damage when he's attacked the shield takes the damage. IF by next round the shield is still intact he will unleash a taijutsu attack on the entire enemy lineup. It DOES NOT interrupt anything.

As for his role I don't know if he can function as a tank, but I can give you a picture on his stats. He has somewhat low HP growth, low Res growth (which affects the shield he generates), high Def and Atk and negligible Nin.

dont use jugo, curse team already has two tank: spiderman and *man

he not that good imho. shield and buffs are nice, but he dont attack when he use mystery and cant even chase

I guess he can be pretty useful as a support for a tank team with Kimi and maybe Kido.

Jugo is great his shield can be used after his auto attack. So use it then so you don't lose out on chase or auto

You're forgetting Jirobo. His standard attack heals himself inside the earth barrier by *ing chakra from the enemy team. He's * hard to kill too.

jugo is not a good character i have tested him with a whole bunch of diffrent line ups all types of positions. i would not even advise picking him up unless you really like the curse seal guys

I run Jugo with my Posion Comp for Sage World I usually place Top Three Not saying my comp with him is the Best but it Works with all the Poison Stacking.

How is Jugo not good since he is being used by most Midnight Bladers ? And currently the best formation is Sasuke-MB-Kimi-Jugo. Some people replace Jugo for Iruka, but that's if you have him.

agree the discription of the mystery is misleading and poorly written.

the interruption part works like this, if the shield is destroyed jugo attack will be interrupted. he doesnt actually interrupt anyone else

and if he casts his attack he will do damage to the enemy team and knockdown to the selected enemy.

they should really rework the text of that mystery, is painfully worded.

it should read something like this:

"Cast a shield on Jugo. If the shield is still active on the next turn, it will launch an attack and do damage to the whole enemy team and knockdown to the selected target. If the shield is depleted the mystery will be interrupted."

Jugo is only good if you control him manually, the AI will mess him up by activating his mystery too soon canceling his auto attack and the chase for the turn, and also will release it after using other ninjas mysteries that turn, which will ruin the chases and the combos.

For that reason i use him when i play lighting, but if i play something else and am doing survival for example i tend to replace him with Jirobo for a dirty team (Kidomaru+Kimimaru+Jirobo+Kabuto).

omg i tried lightning main jugo sasuke kimimaro and i was so disappointed cuz jugo's health *s and hes a terrible tank

I don't know why Jugo is presumed to be a tank. He is supposed to NOT take too much damage to use his Mystery. He is not for the front line, where you will have Kimimaro anyway. He is there for support and, sometimes, damage. If anything, he is there to make Sakon a little bit more survivable, or Kimimaro more tankier than he already is.
