You can pretty much run Kushina with any main. Like the above suggestions, you can consider to use her and Gaara for example as your main ninjas to build a team. Any main does work and you can simply use as third ninja any other support, for example Sakura GNW, Ino GNW, Kurenai and Iruka. All of the mains do work with these teams by the way.

Is kushina better focused on to scale or blitz with? If you focus on eithe one which ninja would you generally pair her wih?

You should always remeber that scaling ninja can't blitz very well so you should build a team that support her survival rather than blitz team

Currently edo itachi, sakura summer, roshi edo, yagura edo are her best buddies so building a team contains at least one mentioned ninja can help her survive and deal tons of damage

Kushina is definitely a scaling character, she is a beast if she scales for some time I myself love pairing her with Itachi Susano'o or with any of the Minatos. Shisui is a great position two with her as well


There are really infinity combinations to pair Kushina with.
