Mail automatically gets deleted after 15 days except for the bugged ones. You can leave it unclaimed if you want but you won't be able to use the Sakura's Foodsacks and Ichiraku's Ramen as today's the last day for the event.
Is this true? I have 5 pages of unclaimed jinchuriki packs and 9tails reward, and a compensation from a few months ago. The old mails did not disappear.

Are you not active enough to still have stuff months ago? There's only a page max of 10 after that messages are out from that pages and you can't access them since newer mail are replacing the old ones. This is what is says at the bottom when you open mail:

No, the old mails don't get deleted. Only the empty ones will. The others with attachment in them stay. I know what it says at the bottom of the mail, but it is not true for unclaimed mail.
