The puppets are controlled by someone hence not kankuro attacks so hinata cannot block kankuro because not kankuro attacks :) hope you understand the idea,my english is rusty :(

I understand the logic behind it i was just wondering whether it was a bug or it was specific weakness.

I believe that Kankuro's puppet has a certain hit condition attached to it, thus Hinata's mystery cannot block it, as it requires a dodge to activate. There are other characters who fulfill this condition as well and are often used against Hinata cores in order to disrupt their rhythm.

Yes thats what i wanted to know was wondering what this was so i could use again in exams for example vs hyuga etc.

I think if hyugas can block every attack they will be too powerfull :lol

Hinata and Neji's mysterys can't block attacks that proc a combo starter.

wind blade asuma also hits 3 targets on the frontline I believe, since its a multiple target attack it ignores hinata her shield. It also counts as a wind attack so it even counters hinata since she is lightning.

well simply is because hinata's mystery is only used to block standard attack that can be blocked.

Any mystery can break it AS LONG as the mystery skill isn't a standard attack.
An example is Lee's mystery. His mystery counts as a standard, since it causes him to launch 2 standard attacks, which is why it doesn't work against Hinata's mystery or Zabuza's mist mystery.

Maybe it's because when equiped with a puppet, Kankuro's standard attack will cause Certain Hit? I know it not stated anywhere in the description texts but it seems similar to Naruto.

Also, Hinato can't block all attacks. Sometimes you get lucky ^^.
