Narrator: At long last, the mighty midnight blade, once the most OP * of 2.0, has been nerfed, and so, our story begins.

Midnight Blade, the quick-drawing swordsman of Konoha, woke up in a bar. He had drunk quite a bit the night prior. for some reason, he had grown weaker while all his friends... and enemy (the ever cursed Crimson Fist), grew stronger. Midnight recalled a time here life was simpler. He could walk up to Crimson and poke holes in him. He was so smooth he could have been expensive milk chocolate. But now his blade was dulled, his speed no longer a thing, and the brute force he had once played with gone.

But if there was one thing Midnight did well, it was rise up from the ashes. And he would get his revenge on the developers who cursed him.

But then again, he needed money to pay his bills, so that would have to come at a later time.

So, he would have to plunder his friends for coupons.

His first target was Scarlet Blaze, who was walking around with the oh so lovely Breeze Dancer. HIS former Girlfriend.

Rage filled Midnight as he charged at the coupon... err, couple. Breeze saw him instantly, and Midnight found himself in a world of bliss as three clones of Breeze danced before him.

Then his pants caught fire.

Then Scarlet immobilised him.

Then his pants burned down, leaving Midnight in his briefs.

Then the briefs caught fire.

When Midnight woke up, his coupons... uhh... Scarlet and Breeze, were gone, his pants were missing, and oh, his undies were still burning. With a shout of panic, Midnight fled into a nearby pool, finding himself staring into the grey-violet eyes of the lovely Azure Fang.

Who happened to be his sister.

Who he could not date.

Who also happened to like some guy named Yashamaru

Who looked oddly like a girl.

Who probably had coupons.

Midnight fled the pool then, off to find some new clothes, leaving behind a confused Azure Fang, and barely missed the aforementioned Yashamaru being frog marched out of a changing room, wearing a skimpy one-piece, being dragged out by four cruel looking girls.

Raid two: Yashamaru and Azure.

Midnight returned to the pool about twenty minutes later. It was deserted but for a single girl in a one piece. With a deep breath and a calm mind, Midnight threw himself at the promised coupon basket.

It was empty (someone had to pay for Yashamaru's swimsuit).

As Midnight turned around, he found himself being stared down by a pack of ravenous girls.

Who had borrowed some of Azure's backup katanas

Which happened to have very nasty set of neurotoxins.

And regular poisons.

Kin Tsuchi (see chunin exams), Tayuya (Crazy flute girl), Ajisai (Animal Path no2), Ameno (filler), and Kagero (filler) took turns playing Brutus in the Ides of March, while Midnight was forced to play Caesar.

When Midnight came to, he found himself being staring into the face of a beautiful young woman, who was bandaging his wounds.

In his pain-addled state, he never noticed it was Yashamaru, who was simply stealing his (newly changed) clothes, who left him in a one-piece swimsuit.

Raid three: Midnight

When Midnight sat up, he found himself being able to move even faster than before

Then he looked down, and realised his floral one piece probably had something to do with it.

It would also explain the cameras and the dozen or so girls reduced to laughing like lunatics around him.

Needless to say, Midnight tried to flee.

His initiative wasn't great however. and he found himself victimised by everyone from Swimsuit Chiyo to... Anko.

It was fairly easy once Kurotsuchi slowed him down, of course.

Kurotsuchi also allowed everyone present to double their activities.

which of course, ended badly for Midnight.

Bonus Raid: The Konohamaru trio

When Midnight finally fled from the girls, he found himself hunting three kids for their coupons.

It ended badly.

Konohamaru used his paper bomb on Midnight's gut, hitting him like he was being punched by Crimson Fist.

Udon struck Midnight as he fell on the way down... In the groin of course.

And Moegi, whose earth spear found his back door, and reduced Midnight to a sobbing wreck on a dark alley.

Then Crimson Fist stepped out from the shadows.
