could someone help me with my school problem?

a stone is thrown vertically downward from the top of a building leaving the throwers hand with a velocity of 10m/s

(a) what will its velocity be after falling for 2 seconds?

(b) how far will it fall in 2 seconds?

(c) what will be its velocity after falling 10m?

Hello~

As this is not a Naruto related post, I'm afraid I'll have to close this one.

But because education is also important, here:

Given: Initial velocity = Vi = 10m/s

(a) formula = final velocity = Vf = Vi + gt

Vf = 10 + 9.81m/s * 2 seconds

Vf = 10 + 19.62

Vf = 29.62 m/s

(b) formula = h = ViT + 1/2gt^2

h = 10*2 + (9.81*(2^2))/2

h = 20 + 39.24/2

h = 20 + 19.62

s = 39.6m

(c) formula = Vf^2 = Vi^2 + 2gh

Vf^2 = 10^2 + (2 * 9.81 * 10)

Vf^2 = 100 + 196.2

Vf^2 = 296.2

sqrt Vf = sqrt 296.2

Vf = 17.21m/s

There! Good luck
