Dear Oasis,

Hello my Account name is AssumedParasite on server 55. I asked Deisuke a mod or admin, when the statement is going to be released about the forums and he/she said,"ASAP" yet we don't have one. what I am about to say is going to be harsh and the truth. You need to read this and do your job as a game publisher to correct things or attempt to even give out information that the community needs. I understand you can not change the core system nor can you change the things people want to be changed for arena/plunder etc. I am fully aware that you as a publisher have certain rules which you are governed by. Lets get on to the state of the game since the last update.


As of the last update, you have made the game more German than English. For future endeavors learn to complete the patch before you put it out. I understand you want people to love the game but putting out half done patches destroys the credit ability of the game. I would rather when you decide to add a patch, add whether its 1/3 of the full update. Almost none of what we were promised for 3.0 actually came out. If it did come out it was almost always in German. This company has yet to put a patch for the game in terms of 2.0 and 3.0 that has been satisfying. You made the same mistakes that you made on 2.0 release patch.


This is sad and it shouldn't have happened. Your Job is to give us the best you can, not give us half made stuff and expect us to like it. The job you have been given has failed numerous times and it's going to kill this game. I don't care what some Youtubers say about this game because they are salty or they left with a bad taste in their mouth. Its not my right to care what they say and neither should anyone else. You as a company need to rethink how you deal with your player base. This is to include, P2A and F2P. On to the next and one of the most important things that hasn't happened and should have is an announcement of what had happened to the forum.


You have failed to give the community on the website and this forum about what happened when a *er got rid of everything. YOU as a company has failed US the consumer about whether our information was stolen or not. NOT once have i seen a report on the website and forums about it. You are making the owner of your company look like they are *ed. I as a consumer of your game have the right to know what happen to the forum and what information could have been or was stolen. This is the right of the consumer. Failing to give a statement about what has happened and about if our information was stolen, is a slap in the face. You are making yourself look back and it is reflecting on this company as well as its leaders.


You should be happy, I am in no position to take your jobs from you cause I would have. You should be lucky to have such a forgiving boss because if blizzard or another company put out such half done patches, the company would have died or at least made a better effort to change it. I have yet to see this from you, I am a huge supporter of this game and I even tell people to like the game for what it is. You need to learn how to run a company or my hard earned money, I put into this game was a waste and i feel like that most of the time. I like this game for what it is, but as a company you have failed me. This is what I want to say to everyone playing this game, play it how you want and ignore everyone else.

Ill belive all that when devs start doing things right, if i were you or other mods i would pester them to do their job an actual well done job, dont want to start drama just stating what mod that actually care should do, not just say everything is fine and get payment..

That statement tiptoes around the issue at hand. The forums were *ed most know this bit of information at this point. First of all the forums were not improved (in my opinion). There are many lacking features that we had in the previous version. We had signatures, like/dislike feature, forum ranks, none of this annoying opening a post and a new tab opens, and finally the time system is on a 24 hour clock. I liked it much better when posts said how many minutes ago it was posted. If you call this an updated interface then I honestly don't know what to say. Secondly back to the forum *, why were us the consumers not updated on the situation? Do you think we would think bad of you that something out of your control happened? I know I wouldn't have honestly I would of respected Oasis more for telling the truth. In the end Oasis tried to keep it a secret and couldn't even tell players there may of been an issue in our database to please change you login information. Even if what you say is true and the *er had not get into the database and get player information it would still be wise to change your information since Oasis care so much about keeping our personal information as top priority... Even big companies like Yahoo came clean and say there database was *ed for users to change their personal information. I do not blame Oasis for getting *ed, but I do blame Oasis for handling it poorly and keeping it from us.

I feel the biggest issue we're running into is a management system designed from the ground up to fail. By only paying the GL in coupons, This sets them up not to want to rock the boat, The only advantage they get is in game. So if they lose that advantage they're now needing to spend their jobs money on the game and they're used to spending god knows how much per month. This means most of the mods won't really propose a drastic change but will take the most median feedback and say "hey they aren't super happy but they said the event is ok." Then go from there, It also puts them in a weird spot where they also care more about the profit made (so they can get their coupons.) Rather than the actual quality. Which isn't what a game liaison should be. Sadly there is not much of a fix to this. Game Liaisons do deserve some sort of compensation for their work, But when you compensate someone, unless they're either extremely professional (which not many people are myself included) or have a strong moral back round, they'll eventually start looking to secure that compensation rather than rock the boat and risk it.

Hi guys! I do understand your frustration and many of us are pushing for change. It takes time for change to happen, but I assure you that many of your suggestions have been made a reality because of all our efforts as a community.


I hope you guys can understand that we do have a section specifically designed for suggestions and feedback and there would be the best place to go if you want to make sure your opinions and feedback gets to the right people. I will forward everything I have seen here for you guys, but I recommend posting your feedback Here in the future.
