i invited a friend of mine to play, she got on the same server as me, she got through the tutorial and did the 1 dollar recharge to get gaara. and when i got online i saw that the community event for it didnt say claim. how do i get it to work so i can get the reward?

it was her first character, but i didnt receive the mail, how does it work? she accepted the invite from her notifications and it brought her straight to the game, is there something we did wrong or is it just a bug and sometimes it works and sometimes it doesnt?

is there a way to credit me the claim? i dont have any more friends, so if its only with the first character ive already used up my only chance, if not ill have to give up on getting it
