I hope I don't get banned for this but I'll tell you this as a heads up. I heard that first process in refunding ingots is that you get banned from the game first. Some youtuber talked about it. His big spender friend got banned upon requesting for a refund. If you are willing to go through that hellish process for your 600 ingots then go for it.
With regards to the topic, in my knowledge there is still no confirmation on what they mean about deposit. So far all the questions have been ignored. Hope those ingots come back though 'cause there might be some rich people here with big * who might go for a lawsuit on that false adverti*t.

I have to agree, if this is how it works and they label a deposit the same as purchase then this is not a very nice thing to do.

As you have described to deposit usually means that you will also withdraw it after a set amount of time, however in this case as soon as you have "deposited" the ingots they pop up in the ingots event as spent.

I would like to get a legit response from oasis explaining how on earth this deposit turned out to be a purchase in their mind, if that is truly the case.

Just recharge some money get ingots , stop companinng jeasus

Well, I think this is more like principle question now. I believe when creating events they should be thought and said clearly what kind of events they are that these kind of situations won't come.

With this kind of behaviour many people won't play any longer..

Loved this thread, one more thing that oasis need to fix

its certainly misleading its not * but its extremely unprofessional considering they had a year to get ready for anniversary event to get everything right at the very least oasis should learn from this that the quality of their translation is lacking and they need to do something about it to avoid people getting missold products.

There is actually many different ways to deposit things such as into your own account or into a fund that gets you money out of it such as TSP for the Military. In this case if you read the bottom of the event in the game it says "You can make deposits into different Froggies! Make a plan! Watch your money being put into good use. So basically when you put 5000 ingots you are putting into an account that is using it to get the items under the 5000 ingots. There is no misleading information at all.

when you deposit something, It usually means you can withdraw them back usually with a few advantage/dividents, That is what most people who hear deposit and rewards think in the first place. I honestly though that was the case but I have no idea to find out since I don't spend in this.

IMO, they should have call it something like Investment or seed money or something similar to that...

Conclusion: they are technically true, but sligthly misleading and what I think is a poor choice of words

They may of well just called it "F*ck you, Pay us"

based on logic, deposit item or money should be able to be drawn back when the time expired or based on mutual agreement.
Similar to bank deposit

As Fareastern pointed out, Deposit is usually paired with the ability to Withdraw like your bank account. This is a pretty specific type of transaction whereas almost everywhere else in the game Buy is used.

Given how underwhelming the 500~5000 rewards are, I made the same assumption that you would either get the ingots back after 6 days or they would be converted to coupons. Given this being the one year anniversary I expected way more.

You deposit 5000 ingots and you get 6000(or 7000) coupons back.Combined that with 20% rebate ,you get 7000-8000 Coupons.

I mean if the ingot can transfer into something useful...or more value item....I would love to deposit my money or Invest my money on it.....but unfortunately....this event is so bad...literally bad...

I think you misunderstand the event...it's not like you can keep claiming the 1000 coupon once you buy the 5000 ingot package...its more like 1 time 1000 coupon and then keep claimed the following reward everyday...It's more like a * that you won't get back what you supposed to get and the value of 5000 ingot is diminished by following daily reward you can get back.

Hi guys! Sorry about any misunderstanding because of the wording. You are correct as the coupons are only claimable once on the day when you deposit (essentially buy) the redeemable packs, which then you can redeem the items below for 6 days.
