This isn't League or heroes of the storm.

I don't think this would work, because one player can say, "I don't want water main or lighting main".

Banning ninjas hmmm how do i feel about this suggestion, hmmmm.

First of all how much ninjas would the player be allowed to ban and can the other player see the ninjas that are being banned?

I honestly dont think this would make sense for this type of game

But certain ninjas are semi critical to certain mains, which means if they are banned, then the optimal setup would require a main change. Forcing someone to do a main change is... just horrible.
Just think, how many people would use water main if sailor sakura is banned? Or, god forbid, sailor sakura AND mei. There are VERY few water main who uses neither of those.

Also, some ninjas are rather exclusive and an advantage people paid money for. Banning those isn't exactly fair.

moba features can't be implemented here or would be realy hard to do and satisfy all ;P

I agree, a player selection banning would be totally unfair, as you would probably end up with just the original konoha 11 to play with and your main especially on a really active server.

Now if oasis came up with a restriction spin with 3 spins but out of your available ninjas (like wheel of fortune event) and the three ninja who it landed on got restricted to only 1 fight, then that would be better it would stop cancer, immortal and blitz teams being as effective. Yet it still give a little mystery as you wouldn't know who out of your opponents line up got restricted.

Things would certainly be interesting if every battle come with an "arena quest" for both side and they must meet the requirement of that quest. (quest will change regardless of win or lose between each round)
Thou... if there is going to be RNG, best 2 out of 3 probably isn't enough, as it leaves too much up to chance. 3 out of 5 or 4 out of 7 might work thou.

i can see why this suggestion is made, and if you havent made a team to deal with a certain ninja thats your own fault
