If you can get mifune, a really nice team to use is mifune kimimaro kk gaara and lightning main.

Firemain setup :

itachi - fireM-kage gaara

x1 position : tanky ninja - naruto, hinata, sai
x2 position : healer or special ninja - kabuto, tsunade sannin, hidan

team specialty : 2nd turn dual aoe (fireM+kage gaara) plus itachi barrier over write auto kage barrier (like that smexy mei poison barrier ;p )

Reset mystery. First round you have 80 chakra, this allows you to use both Sage and gaara mystery in round 2.

One thing is to completely switch around that team so Main is protected.... Wind main is certainly not a tank ;).

Standard higher end Sage Wind team setup is wind main, gaara, Sage Naruto and then killer bee if you get him or pain gakido. Use the last passive earned along with flood dragon (if Gakido) or Kirin / Dog of Hell (if Bee), can get enough chakra for both Sage and Gaaa's mysteries round 2 and then reset and do it all again
