so 1750 medium thread total.
As a free to play, you can get 3-4 thread a day( if you invest all monthly event points and time space points)
so pretty much about a year and half to get to rank 6.you can get one advance thread every 2days if you're ranked 150 and up in time space and about 10 a month.so rank 6 to 7 about 6 and half years,
rank 7to 8 thirteen years, rank 8 to 9 about 26 years, for the total of 47 years.
well i guess,you can give your account to your grandchildren to get rank 9 battle armor for you ,and them to their kids if you wanna get rank 10.
so no worries, it is doable as a free to play.

Nope, i'm mostly free to play, i play since 5 months and im at 52/200 for rank 5 to 6. About battle armor you can consider me full f2p since i never used coupons or ingots there. Just hoarded free ones. Edit: 3.0 SA hard mode drops advanced threads.

good news everyone! you can get it in 24 years instead of 47 years.
oh btw my server is 4months+ old and all our p2w players except one are still rank 4 battle armor,so you're either lying or you've been playing way more than 5 months.and there is no mostly f2p. Either you're a free to play or not.doesn't matter if spend a dollar or 20k$ once you recharge you're a p2w.

Someone is salty it seems.
You need to realize the difference between p2w and p2p players, I am f2p and my server is like 6 months old and i have rank 5 armor so net time when you accuse someone of being p2w atleast check all the facts.
not salty at all.it's your money do whatever you want with it. but free to play means 0 dollars spent.
people who get medals or do a recharge once in a while and call themselves f2p, now that's bull*.
once you recharge you're not a free to play. -

I'm full ftp and I got rank 6 armor--because for 4 month or so I ONLY spent coupon on lucky board and went full med thread on that.
i get over 100 every month from lucky board alone, add ~dozen per week from SA and 112 a month from monthly, that's about 300 a month
Total required is only max 1400, minus rebate of 126 (You forgot the 2 to 3 rebate, thou I didn't get that personally cause mine was R3 before the first rebate event), that's only 1274(likely closer to 1k). So, perfectly possible in just 4 month.
I believe they had charms instead of medium threads last month.
But,yes it is possible to do it if you just save all your coupons for lucky boards and go medium threads instead of medium refines.
but most people rather max their refines first because they get better boosts with refine+purify than the medium threads.
But as i mentioned in my first post the medium threads weren't the problem.It is the advance thread that needs 40 years of grinding at the current state. -

They had med thread every month, at least in the exchange. I pay little attention to what is on the board since the exchange is a good deal in and of itself.
Thing is, my move 1 is fully medium refined, which means medium refine have serious diminishing returns. Also, med refine is cheaper, in some events you can get it for less than 20 so...
I didnt see medium threads last month in lucky board ,but i could be wrong.
also is you mentioned,it's a better deal to go for medium threads both in lucky board and monthly event since medium refine costs 25 coupons while medium thread costs 38 since the points needed to get them are the same. -
