I think it was put on indefinite hold because of such a negative response from the poll (which has been discontinued, but the way they were doing it was dumb).

unfortunately, cross server matsuri and arena give all cross server events a really bad name. I think cross server sage wouldnt' have been so bad, because matsuri and arena both suffer from matching problems but everyone has to register for sage at the same time, so optimal matches can be made. The real problem is sage itself, it's the only reliable way to obtain advanced runes. If you're in the top 3 already, you definitely dont' want cross server sage.

If you're not in the top 3, cross server sage could be good for you, but these same people get poor matchups in matsuri and feel that cross server sage they would just be food for someone else. That being said, I really wish they could implement cross server sage for some servers and not all servers, especially ones that can't get sage even started.

I'm worried about the state of the game, even my own server - the 156, 159, 162 merge gets on average 7-10 people for each sage team, so we're pretty close to not starting sage (not sure what the minimum is?), and many of the people in sage are in my group and get mad when i kill them. Sage is really ONLY an event I do to get adv runes, not because it's fun at all...

Only way everyone would be happy is to have cross server sage only activate for a particular server when insufficient numbers of players register for that day's sage. Sure it would add complexity to the coding, but I really cant see anyone not liking this, since those that already get sage dont get reduced odds of obtaining results, and those that wouldnt get a sage on the day get to participate with other servers.

(Although I could be wrong, regardless someone somewhere will find issue with any action lol).

The real problem, that affects not only sage, is that the population is too *tered on 500+ servers.
They should address this first with a fast-track of mergers and a lower frequency of opening new servers.

You are delusional lol. Posting on that thread is just a waste of time. I posted for a merge for 4 months and nothing. Our server is pretty much dead now, even if a merge do come merging us with couple other dead servers it won't help things much. While 10+ new servers keep opening up every week and less than 10 servers get merged a month if we're lucky.

Posting on that thread does help as we have an exceptional team of ambassadors who will come by to listen to any concerns and find a resolution that can make your gaming experience even better. It does take time for us to come by but we do.

We believe that your voices are important, we do hope to further improve your experiences and hope that you can understand that we do need some time. We are constantly making improvement and we are terribly sorry for the delay!

The main issue there is that if your server is very dead the number of people that could think to post in that thread are very few. If we add to that fact that we see many times that also servers that didn't ask at all to be merged get merged too, you got the point. That one is the reason why i stopped tthree weeks ago to ask for a merge for my server, because I'm in the range of other servers that continue constantly to ask for a merge so, looking at how they do these mergings, it's more likely that we get merged with them if we don't ask for it than if we ask for it.

Merging servers and creating new ones (on a time schedule) you guys aint doing much, it's like chop off a hydra's head, then 2 more show up, it's useless, unless you stop creating servers, the merge will do it's thing.

On a side note, about Cross server Sage...it will come trust me, all they can do is postpone aka delay.

Do you even listen yourself? You are feeding this nonsense to us and you actually believe any of this is true? Take a hard look at what oasis is doing opening 5 servers a week and merging once a month while there's a sea of servers asking for a merge and getting ignored for months.

you realize that if the SWB gonna go crosserver the only sure thing is that it will get so unbalanced about the battlepowers and the big / small spenders and f2p.. so i vote no for SWB crosserver.. its gonna be a disaster... just see how many of the players are upset with matsuri.. goona be the same and worse....

There are advantages and disadvantages of cross server I guess, I did vote for against SWB back then when the poll was created but the truth is that in the current state of the game only the same active 12-15 players have a shot at cracking the 9 slots for advanced refines, with the rest having near zero chance.... The cross server sage could be better for the game depending on how it is implemented - I do agree matsuri matching isn't great, but if implemented correctly, cross server SWB could solve a lot of problems for dead servers and also allow for more players to potentially benefit through the luck element (i.e being drawn in a weaker sage) - for the person that doesn't get any advanceed refines from SWB, they would much rather see cross server SWB. For the ones already breaking top 3 comfortably, naturally it wouldn't be great. Anyway the game is becoming less interesting, maybe they will consider this as an option eventually if more people start quitting the game and SWB is a problem.

Although you might like to believe otherwise, there is a place where you can post your concerns and suggestions. Oasis has many avenues/programs that reaches out to players and ask for their feedback. As a whole, Oasis has been doing a lot to make your experience even better.

Change and new implementation happens gradually and takes time; many things have changed and improved, you just need to open yourself to them! =>

Matsuri brackets are the same as spacetime. So if you are in top50 in your spacetime bracket you very likely get 5 wins every time, otherwise it's hard to even reach 3. Anyways i suggest you to not join matsuri immediately but to wait 15-20 minutes, you'll see you'll get a lot easier life.
On the other hand swb, very likely, would have the same brackets as arena ane you'll be matched against 30 people around your level and bp, so would be somehow a lot fairer than matsuri. Anyways i still find hard to understand why they can't simply make it cross server for the servers that didn't get enough players to make it start. Should be easy to do, no? If less than 21 people registered your server gets projected in the cross server swb, if you have the 21+ people it doesn't do.
