There's a pretty easy way to solve this mess, tobei (i tell this to you because seems you are the only one that hear us), and is to open next week the following tier of instance (the one that requires something like 40k pow to open and that drops red natures and other red gourd tier level items). that way all of our tools would be obsolete regardless and this change of the random stats would be acceptable.
