Hey,

as mentioned, it depends on your formation. You can see the number on the bottom of the icon, it says how much energy you need for certain move/attack. You get 20/40 energy per turn (I am not quiest sure about the amount of energy atm). This post was last edited by Daiske at 2016-7-9 08:39

Combos work in multiple parts in this game.

First you have the normal attack, each character will attack once a turn and use a normal attack the will hit the enemy a certain number of times which varies with each ninja. The normal attack may have a chance to activate a special version that can inflict status effects. For example Sasuke's normal attack is a 1 hit attack but can proc a 3 hit attack instead which will effect the enemy with the float status.

Status effects can last anywhere from just that attack to multiple rounds later and include float, poison, burning, repel and others.

Certain ninjas have passive abilities that let them inflict or chain off of different status effects. As mentioned above Sasuke can give enemies the float status, be he also has a passive that lets him attack enemies with the float status and cause the repel status. So Sasuke can cause float through his normal attack proc'ing the improved version and then his passive will proc, removing the float status and replacing it with repel which causes damage to that enemy and all enemies in the same row behind it.

Different ninjas can cause different status effects and have different passive attacks that chain with different effects so by using the right formation you ca increase the number of attacks that you can do per round.

Some ninjas also have abilities that will proc after a certain number of consecutive hits and will then deal extra hits, Sasuke can launch fire* at 2 enemies if you get a chain of 10 or more.

Passives may only be used once per round so you can't have Sasuke's improved attack cause float to chain into his repel and then have Naruto's improved attack cause float so Sasuke can repel again, the passive repel effect will only proc once per round.

In addition to all of that every ninja will have a special skill that can be used that usually costs chakra(Lee's skill, as well as a few others, does not cost anything). These special skills can do a wide variety of things from poison the enemy team to paralyzing them or you can heal your own team. All skills in this category have varied cooldowns and cost various amounts of chakra. You start the first round with 20 chakra and gain an additional 20 each round.

this is actually correct, it depends on the attacking ninja if his/her passive skill will trigger like float or down, then the other ninja will go and continue the combo if he have a passive skill that follow thru when the enemy is on float or down status,

for example, naruto have an attack that will give the enemy float status, (uzumaki barrage) then if you have a ninja that have a passive skill that can be trigger when the enemy is in float status, like sasuke then he will continue the combo.

you can actually look at the compatibility of each ninja on the ninja tab, just hover the ninja and the word combination/combo will appear and once you click it, it will show all ninjas that you have that can follow up on his combo skill.

your main will gain many passive skills as you level up and make you chose what skills are more favorable on your team set up.

It depends on your formation and the attacking ninja (their passive skill) , certain skills trigger others depending on the formation and depending on which ninja attacks first.

It doesn't tell you directly how everything works together but when you play the other versions you figure it out pretty quickly. Also you don't really need to read the other languages that's what google translate is for.

As previously mentioned by Shad it wont tell you directly how everything works but as you play you find it fairly easy to pick up the game style.

The character's that can make more combos are the lighting ones i'll put you an example if you choose the lighting guy for main sasuke and kakashi will be excelent for your team because sasuke on 3 stars can make more than 15 combo with kakashi on every turn also with kirin and the passive that give 40% more damage the lighting main along with sasuke and kakashi will do a total of 80% more damage i'll put you another example for the other MC's you'll want characters of your same abilities because they combine pretty well with you the fire one combines well with the ones that have kekkei genkai so i'll say something to ya lighting and fire will do well in the beginning but not in the future so you'll want either a water, wind or earth main wind is the best of they all but i don't like the idea of the char being a woman she'll have an ability in level 55 that'll create 3 shadow clones with attributes based on the ones she has that is hell of a tanking ability more-over she'll have an ability of senjutsu the eart one will become like hashirama being a combination of taijutsu and wood-jutsus pretty much is the hashirama main the water one is like tsunade and the abilities of she can heal the team over and over again so lighting and flame are pretty lame compared to they

Lightning is nowhere near lame in pvp, their skills let them prevent the opponent from using combo attacks which can stop alot of damage and side effects plus they let their team heal on attacks. And fire deals the most damage of everyone at the cost of being the least tanky.

Each main character has a very good reason to play as them but it all depends on your play style. Tanks go earth(damage reduction and inturrupts) or wind(clones and shield to females), supports go water(lots of heals), dps go fire(they also have a reflect skill that causes the status effects you inflict to be reflected to your ninjas), and lightning is a dps too but they have lifesteal and paralyze

Also for kyuubi event you dont want heals or tanks you want dps.

Here is a pretty good tool to use, to check if your dream team gonna work or not.
I would recommend to use goolge trans. on this:
Combo Simulator

if the char's don't load in, that only your Protagonist/Class shows > press the Yellow reset *on,
that usually fix the problem.

if you see chars, with Blue text over their stars, that means their skills can be upgraded.
So if you click the Blue text, then you will get the upgraded skills UI.

FYI: the filter search on chars, don't really work with google trans. it might stop working then, so u might need to turn off/on the trans or press the Yellow reset *on again.... or maybe even refresh the site/F5 :P
