sounds like kimmimaro didnt get the root, and a stun will still cancel a mystery, so if he targeted your mifune while he casted, the stun will interupt, but he wont be stunned

no that wudnt be the case :P since mifune wud have been rooted and immume to interupt so nothing can stop him. well ;p unless watermain lvl 80 combo or windmain remove everythin ;p

Mifune which can not be interrupted, is still interrupted
& Is immobilized
& Kimimaro is Chaos

So no, there is something that does not work ...

was there a water or windmain against u ? either can remove root
and yes the root can go on bee :P so its best to remove 1 sword ninja from that team so ull know 100 % who has the root every time.

Let me try to clarify these doubts.

1) Root passive only effects 3 sword ninja, at its completely random. You can't chose who gets buff and who doesn't. Since there were 4 sword users, one of them didn't get buff. From your examples, it looks like they were kimimaro and mifune. (and yes, its a waste if bee gets the buff since he's already immune).

2) Those mystery's that are immune to interruption can't be stopped with interrupt skill/chase (Iruka/guy mystery or hashirama chase). But if they are releasing mystery, then that can be stopped with acuunture/immobile/chaos debuff.
But, if the 'interrupt-immune' mysterys gets root buff (Mifune, Hidan mystery) - then they can't be stopped with anything.

in short: Immune to interrupt mystery (Mifune, Hidan, Tendo) - Can be stopped with Acupunture/immobile/chaos.
Immune to interrupt+ Immune to debuff - Can't be stopped with acu/immo/chao mystery/chase.

Maybe it will be better if you bring 3 sword ninja only, that way it won't be upto rng then.

And "Chaos" too

So why in the second round I have one ninja "chaos" & one "Immobile"
If Kimimaro does not have Root
Then Mifune should not be "immobile"

If Mifune does not have Root
Then Kimimaro should not be "Chaos"

In your example, you provided examples to different fights.

Before I dig in. It's always best advised providing the exact scenario, including the opponents ninjas you're facing. To best adjust the situation.

There are skills that can remove root from characters, Like Wind Mains 4th mystery.
Or Water Mains 4th mystery, etc.

Additionally, "Immobile" abilities can stop skills being prompt(triggered), regardless of Root of Warrior.
Same applies to Chaos.
