Are there any strategies for beating this thing???Been trying control teams, but hasn't been good enough yet.
I have a hard time even getting past the first wave of 3 enemies. I am level 79 with 29000 power. I hope one of the sages of this forum can enlighten us with their sage advice! I really need the 3 battle points so I can get more chakra thread to awaken.

This is the team that I used to take down the toads. Take note though, you will need to do some retries before you finally beat them.

And yes; I am currently at level 77 with 26000+ power. So, you should be able to defeat them as well.

Good luck.

Hi there!

For quite some time, this Instance was giving me A LOT of trouble. Then I had a realization: More attacks per turn. I am using a Lightning Main and his talents were: Lightning Armor (The most important), Lightning Assassination Sword, any Chase Attack, since the Gamas cannot be chased anyway, Anbu Special Assault Tactics, Clone Combination Tactics, and any Summon, since they don't seem to work either. Note: I am Level 78 with over 30,000 power.

I hope these talents work out in your favor. They did for me and will work well for any set of large bosses to big for anyone to use Chase Attacks against. May the odds be ever in your favor. Use Tonton (for damage) or Chameleon (for stats boost).

What? I didn't realize those particular Summons would make a difference.

you need to use a nine tails team for these kind of instance battle.

I personnaly beat it with suigetsu, darui, gnw tenten and water main.

Ah yes, Summons do give you some stats boost, depends on their class (blue, purple, gold)

For this instance, it's best that you go with a high-speed summon. Tonton does the most single-damage among summons, but chameleon gives your teams more stats.

Good luck, man.

I just finished clearing this instance today! I used this lineup for more attacks to take out the gamas quicker:

Suigetsu - Zabuza - X
Kurotsuchi - Main - X
X - X - X

Used Ton Ton as summon for extra damage. I believe the talents I used were 2-4-3-1-1

I had a ton of trouble with this... then I tried using kyuubi team and went through pretty easily at 26k pow. Forget survival and defenses; just go all out on offense. If you can kill 2 toads in 1 round, it is a walk in the park after.

I think it was 12143 and chameleon but for last two talents i'm not much sure... I used zabuza and suigetsu because they have 2 standard attacks and kisame to steal chakra. but actually I think i won because of my battle power being close to 30k so i think this won't be much helpful to you but still good luck!

one advice is that before reaching level 80, raise your power to 35k-38k, because things are going to get tough after 2.0 update :)

The tip is to kill them first before they can kill you. So that means don't focus on any healing. You might have to come back to it since the new update made the blue circles significantly harder. WhenI came back to it, I used water main.

It doesn't matter where you put them as long as it's in sequential order because the frogs attack everything. Also useless to use clones as stated before.

Please note that all these ninjas are cultivated to the max and have at least lv 6 mood and are awakened to gold.

In order: Haku 1st, Water Main 2nd, Sai GNW (you should have him from monthly) 3rd, GNW tenten 4th. (she is in most events)

Use Haku's mystery first to buff all water ninja and go on from there. Use skewering, I guess shark bomb works but it does a bit less dmg since it's AoE. Blossom clash or flow whip. 10 combo chase. Enhancement of water style ninja. Water clone. Summon ton ton. (Guys tortoise if u have it). Chameleon dmg is spread so ton ton is a better choice. Also note that they aren't immune state so Sai's immobile mystery can come in handy.

If all else fails try using wind main and super *y harem Jutsu. The froggies are male. But I don't know a good team for wind main.

  • why use choji..?
Because I'm an F2P. At that time, I have no strong ninja to defeat this trial. I was on Level 77 with 26000+ power. On the good part, the fact that I survived using this team means that it is passable.

So, why Choji you ask? Choji has a passive talent that allows him to increase his attack power for every time he receives healing power. Also, his standard attack are AoE (area-on-effect) so all three toads are affected by his attack. The faster the toads die, the more chances for this team to success.

Who's healing him, you may ask? The other three ninjas in the lineup (Azure Fang, Sakura, and Kabuto). No, I don't have Tsunade (The Fifth Hokage). Instead of her, I choose Sakura because of her Healing Mystery (30% heal) and Passive Healing. Kabuto have Double Healing as Passive and extra dead clones to add up extra damage to the toads. Meanwhile, Azure Fang have Healing Mystery (25% heal), heal as a Standard, Heal Passive and Poison Tai for extra damage to the toads.

The formation has its reason. It's to make sure that the healers will heal Choji first (thus increasing his power before he launch the attack). For every round they survived, Choji become much stronger and inevitably win the trial. Note that it is important for Choji to survive since he's the only person that cause damage to the toads. If he gets killed, repeat the instance.

Yes, it is a lot of steps to do. Yes, there are other team formation and lineup that works just as well. I am basically giving you an option to pass the instance. You may follow this way or simply ditch it. Your call.

I am now in Level 89 with 46000+ power (still an F2P) and already passed all the Chapter 9 instances (Pain Attack). One thing I noted is that Itachi's Entrustment is the only instance where you can get the Chakra Thread (no other instances gave the Chakra Thread) in the story line. If you want the Chakra Thread (trust me, you will), I suggest that you beat this Blue Circle and get 3 stars for this instance so that you can just sweep the instance the next time you need the Chakra Thread again.

Peace.
