Just thought a list of free/exchange ninjas that you can obtain from clearance rewards would be helpful to players who are thinking of recruiting or just planning their teams in general. These are the free ones I know of at the moment. Feel free to add on in the replies.

First. How to check if the ninja's shards are farmable from instances:



Head to the ninja tab and select the upgrade stars *on. Hover over the thumbnail and click on that as shown above.

List of first time clearance rewards: Elite Instances

Lvl 20: 30 Naruto , 30 Sakura, 32 Sasuke
Lvl 30: 30 Kiba, 30 Shino, 30 Hinata
Lvl 40: 35 Lee, 35 Tenten, 35 Neji
Lvl 50: 30 Kankuro, 80 Asuma, 80 Guy
Lvl 60: 84 Zabuza 84 <:3_42:>Chiyo 35 Kimimaro

List of Clearance Rewards : Plot
1st Chapter: 5 Sakura, Naruto,Sasuke(given within the chapter)
2nd Chapter: 30 Haku
3rd Chapter : 30 Kankuro
4th Chapter: 30 Anko
5th Chapter: 30 Kimimaro
6th Chapter: 30 Suigetsu
7th Chapter: 80 Tsunade (sannin)

Exchange Shop: so far
Survival Shop: Tobi , Suigetsu, Kabuto, Lee

Black Merchant/ Trial Breakthrough allows you to exchange for random rare ninjas from time to time.
Survival Trial Reward boxes gives ninja shards from time to time. If you are lucky, you might get 30 2 star ninja shards or 80 3 star ninja shards.
