it seems like i can't auto complete the "daily practice" although it says you should be able to do it when you have the jonin medal.

There are two options in the Kakashi Handbook

Daily Practice and Weekly Practice.

If you have a Jonin Medal, you'll be able to instantly complete 'Daily Practice" dailies.

However Weekly is different.

yeah i know that.
