So far what I have enjoyed most is wind main. I use 2 formations
Sage naruto / kurotsuchi/ wind / onoki
You can switch kurotsuchi with Iruka or 5 large summit temari for higher damage on naruto
I've been running lightning tiger summon, low to high chase and either gust Jutsu or reset.

With fire mains I tend to use sage naruto/ kurotsuchi/onoki with dog of hell and high to low float chase. You c*e seal for control of specific targets, if you really want to control everyone you can swap kurotsuchi for shikamaru to control/sleep 3 targets a round.

Fire is great for control while wind has potential to make naruto a god.
With the wind formation I kill everyone around my bp round 2 with Jutsu and lightning mains will literally have no chance.

Also as a side note I'm interested in trying onoki with earth main and running it with gnw kankuro but haven't tried it yet.

Interesting, I tried Onoki, Gakido and Akatsuchi (sp?) and its quite tanky but the damage is lacking. Was thinking of using Sage Naruto|Onoki and Earth Main but not seeing if it can work or not.. hmm

I will eventually switch to wind main maybe

what are your skills for wind main lineup?

I am using Onoki with Earth Main, Shurado and Akatsuchi. Damagewise it's not outstanding, but it can live through many hardships :D
