You don't seem to understand how cache works.

Caches saves a portion of data on your computer so you don't have to download it from source when it is needed again.

Cache causes trouble when, for one reason or another, there is a inconsistency or disagreement between cache data and server data. Your computer will keep trying to use the incorrect data and this will lead to problem.

The thing to note is that cache is itemized. That is to say your cache does not hold the entire game as one thing, but as a bunch of little things like individual ninja, animation and such.

Here, the potential cause of the problem is that there is, for example, a cache problem on one particular ninja. And thus entering into combat against any player with that particular ninja will lead to failure. If the person you are reporting is the only one with that ninja while the others don't, then you would only have this problem when you fight him.

This is why cache problem generally cause you to black screen when you do "something" as opposed to prevent you from entering the game altogether. That's generally a problem with cache on the interface you are trying to use, or part of the interface. So actually using that chunk of data is what causes the game to fail.

Edit: P.S. this is very similar to people who complains about connection issue being the game's problem because "my internet is gud, it iz fazt 3MB/s!" Fact of the matter is, once above a certain bare minimal, internet speed means nothing to games. Consistency and compatibility, which are far more complicated metrics, are the key. Gotta love how the people who don't understand tech assert that their tech is fine.
