Well hopefully they will just merge old and dead servers with same average power. There are plenty of servers out there can't start sage battle or kill kyuubi because lack of players.
I just wondering how they gonna manage problem like this : Player A have 2 characters on server B and C, but B and C gonna merge so which character can player A keep? What if he want to keep both characters or have top-up in both.

Was actually wondering how this merge would work...
Guessing severs on the same time line, released at the same or close to the same time will be merged so you would not have to worry about the players from the new server(s) having a high level gap.
But wonder if they completely rename the resulting server or just give it one of the merged servers' name. Main issue is "how many" servers will get merged together, maybe it's not just 2.

This can easily be fixed.
IF player A has a character y in server x and has a character z in server w, player A can log into z through server w and vice versa for character y.

I think it may be closer to 3-5 servers added together. This will encourage spending as there is now more competition.

With Germany it looks like they took similiar size servers and merged them, so like S16 & S17 merged but S50, S51, S52 &, S53 merged. They will prob. do the same thing with us and hopefully keep it with corresponding timed servers (west with west).

Hopefully they will merge us in an average of power and level so that no one will complain and quit

The real question is what will happen if after the server merge there are more than one group or player with the same name?

maybe they would be nice enough to give us free rename cards just maybe...

I was thinking along the same line but I think they should apply a force change for names of groups and players just so no one or group has the same name as another.

Your name will be for example S32-Neconis and a other one if someone have the name S33-Neconis

Where did you get that information and also what will happen to the group names the same thing?

its the only way i can think of, if server 1 and 2 has both guild named A and both players have name B then the guild after merge will be A-s1 and A-s2 then players will be B-s1 and B-s2.

That is correct. As Neconis said, there will be a number of your server before your name after merge.

They will need to do it, because there are a lot of Akatsuki or Konoha "name of the group" in every server.

And groups will be the same?

Yes. They will also have numbers before names.

Can we get a list of servers that will be merged? If it is happening "soon" I would like to know when if possible. I am looking forward to Server Merges because right now in the GNW there are 2 Groups and it pretty much is a foregone conclusion which one wins and which one takes second.
