1＃ Go ToSo I've done a few team instances and today got my first duplicates for a slot. As such, upgrading is something I'm looking into, however I have been unable to find any sort fo guide that gives information as to what items to upgrade/when.
I assume any upgrades to the lower tier (green/blue) tools are going to be wastes as soon as you get a higher tier tool, as it'll have better stats. However I don't know how long it'll be until getting better tier tools.
Does anyone have any information/advice on which tools/stats to max on them and when it's worth/not worth upgrading them?
For reference here are the tools I have;

The Sword has Attack +7, Fire Resistance +1 and the Ring has Resitance +4 as their additional stats.
TL;DR. Any guides/help on when and what to upgrade with the Ninja Tools?

In terms of Ninja Tools, you want to look at their bonus stats. Purple rarity can have 4 purple stats, Orange can have 6, before that don't worry about it much you will level rather fast till you can start finding purple ninja tools.
As for upgrading, you c*e already leveled ninja tools for strengthening with no exp penalty (it will give as much exp as you put into it), so you can dump all your green and blue tools into purple ones later on. So feel free to max your green/blue ones. -

We should also get an event where you can get a gold ring for 500 coupons in the limited shop area. It will be a 10 limit a day item. Why would you buy this gold ring ninja tool more then 10 times?
1) It gives random stats, so fishing for the best stats is a reason.
2) You can horde these to upgrade your other gold ninja tools later on as they will take awhile to reach max level. -

Would you say it's better to save coupons for that rather than other events then?
At 535 currently, was hoping to hit 720 to get Iruka but looking like that won't happen this event -

It is.. /shakes head around/ ehh, you want to focus power with your coupons. Not ninja's.
So if you don't have the ninja tool yet, it'd be best to get it. Like, if they release a book, or a blade, buy it, because we don't have access to them yet because of our level. The other stuff, like, face mask, rings, shuriken, necklace. It's kind of worth to do it, but then not really, because you already have items with stats there, and the golden ones will only give you a small power increase.
If it's like 500 coupons for a golden ninja tool, buy it. (if it's any more, i just wouldn't, and would just keep saving) -

Is there a level requirement to be able to use the Gold tools? I know that;
to unlock specific slots is locked by level
to drop higher tiers you have to do higher level content
Since I'm only at level 37, I assume if I am able to say get it tomorrow (hypothetically if the event became that one) it'd be even more worth it since the increase from the blue one I have would be more than if I was a max level with high upgraded purple one. Providing I am able to equip it. -

- The only requirement is the level one to open slots, once it's open you c*e it, it shows you the level needed to open slot if you mouse over the lock & chains on it.
Awesome, yeah I noticed the levels for unlocking the slots. Just wanted to be sure about no actual restriction on equipping higher tier ones. :) -

- Ninja tools work on everyone, not just mains, so in general more stats = better. But imo defensive stats are better Life/Def/Res and for secondary stats Damage Reduction/Control/Combo.
I was more mentioning my main because team comps vary based on the main (at least from what I've read) so figured the extra info might swing it towards a different priority.
With regards to defensive stats; I noticed there was the usual Resistance, but also X Resistance (Fire, Wind, etc)
Since the X Res is so situational, is it worth keeping those or just going for normal Res over them?
EDIT: For example I have 2 Ring of Konoha, one with +4 Resistance the other +1 Wind Resistance -

- I think the elemental resistance only comes in +1, i don't remember seeing higher so i would not bother. It's 1% off only one damage type and it comes in same slots as secondary stats spawn, i would rather have 20-25 Control or Damage Reduction there.
That's what I was thinking. Only having 3 blue items I didn't have much to base it on though. Could of easily just been bad rolls on the values.
