I personally have found him (them?) as fairly good DPS; enough so that they are my goto DPS despite being lightning main primarily. The mystery actually is pretty good in that it can deal a ton of damage. Lightning main's leech + mystery = enormous, enormous leech, enough so to heal him sufficiently so that he can keep going.

But he is really fragile, almost as much as Kakashi...and without healing and/or his mystery with leech it can be kinda hard to keep him alive if he's unprotected.

Also, I have noticed that his chase is fairly weak...keep that in mind if you want.

I still use them late game and I'm doing fine. I think it's just a lot tougher to use them late game than early game.
