Honestly, Midnight Blade seems a bit better with your available ninja. If you swap, I would try get Kimimaro to 3 stars then use him with Sasuke and guy or use Sasuke and Kabuto. (MB skills being Sealing Slash, Lightning assassination sword, Lai beheading, Intent of the warrior/ lightning enhancement and root of the warrior. Summon can be either furukomaru/ ninja cat, or Serpent/white snake.

Honestly, your current team isnt bad at all for FTP.. But the reason your progress might have stopped is because your 'Power' is just low for your level.

In my opinion, Midnight Blade might be a better fit for your ninja lineup.
