It was just another mundane day for Team 7 after they were once again, tasked to reunite Tora, very much against its reluctance and its owner, Madam Shijimi, wife of the Fire Daimyo back together for the third time. "Where have you been all these times, fuzzykins? You must have suffered a lot thee few days being out alone, my poor baby!", as she forcefully nudged her face against the cat's. "More like it suffered being with you...." replied Sasuke, mumbling under his breath hoping not to be caught. The team then bade their farewell to Madam Shijimi and Tora. With a shared sigh of exhaustion. Naruto who was unable to contain his resentment confronted Kakashi, "Can't we get a better mission than this?". Kakashi then replied "Let's have ramen tonight! It will be my treat!" with a smile on his face, feigning innocence. This trick obviously worked well with Naruto as he gleefully accepted Kakashi's offer, whereas Sakura and Sasuke let out another huge sigh upon the situation as the team starts heading towards Ichiraku.

The team finally reached the modestly designed stall and upon lifting the stall's curtain, they were greeted by Teuchi, the stall owner, "Welcome, come on in!". The team took their seats, scanning around the stall's interior aside from Naruto, who shouted out his order "Pops! One extra-large Miso Chashu Ramen!". "Coming right up! And what about the three of you?" Teuchi asked Kakashi, Sakura and Sasuke with the brightest smile. The others anxiously smiled and followed suit with the same order. "Alright, four extra-large Miso Chashu Ramen coming right up!" replied Teuchi as he starts getting busy with his hands. Sakura started glancing around the humble interior around again and slipped her mouth out of curiosity, "Hey Naruto, why do you like Ichiraku ramen so much? It looks really shady and the ramen isn't even that great.". This obviously caught the ears of not only the Team, but Teuchi as well. He continues to prepare the ramen order with a grin on his face. Naruto then defended, " Eh? Their ramen is the best in the whole Konoha! Believe it! " Dubious as Sakura may be, the stall was brought to silence until Teuchi presented the Team's order, "Four extra-large Miso Chashu Ramen! Enjoy!"

As usual, the ramen looked so ever tempting and appetising as the team split their chop*s at the same time with the phrase "Itadakimasu!" and chowed down to Konoha's best ramen. With stars in her eyes, Sakura complimented " Oh my, Mr Teuchi, you have the best pork chashu ever! ". Teuchi replied confusingly, "Pork?" which was received with another confused respond," Yeah it is pork, right? " Mr Teuchi replied with that question with a smirk, " I never said it was made from pork. ", marking a giant red flag in Sakura's mind. She smiled with sweat dripping down her face, " C-Chicken...?" as the others enjoyed their food quietly. Teuchi s* his head with a leer. Out of fear, Sakura instinctively asked all the possible idea of what the meat could be made of ethically, " Beef? Turkey? Lamb? Rabbit? Venison? ". Which was all refuted with the same response by Teuchi.

Sasuke and Kakashi started to be concerned and begun to join in to guess what kind of meat the Chashu could possibly be made out of only to receive the same response from Teuchi. Teuchi then gleefully commented, "We use a type of special homemade meat to ensure the ramen is always savoury, juicy and addicting. Let's just say you are what you eat!" This remark planted in their mind, their imagination fertilised the thought and it struck their mind like a train except for Naruto who did not seem understand the hint. Alarmed with their jaw dropped to the bowl of delicious broth while Naruto continues to sip on his never-ending noodles, the team whispered to Naruto in order to make him understand the gravitas of the situation. Delayed as he may be, he eventually caught up with the same response the whole team has been conveying the whole time.

"EHHHHHHHHHH?!", the everyone screamed in disbelief and disgust. Naruto mustered up his courage and asked, "H-How do you get these meats?". Teuchi nonchalantly answered, "Oh, you can easily get anything for the right price.", leaving everyone blue in the face and flabbergasted. The silence and repugnance engulfed the whole stall as everyone in the team looked at each other with pure horror on their face. This was finally broken when Teuchi chuckled facetiously exclaimed, "Got cha! I tricked you guys! Happy Halloween!" The team finally took a sigh of relief with Naruto responding, " You really got us there, pops! Believe it! ". Teuchi replied, " Haha, sorry! I just wanted to see the look in your faces." as the team goes back to eating their ramen and Naruto ordering more as if they did not just have the shock of their life.

The evening gradually quiet down with the team finishing their meal as Teuchi rubbed his hands together with a polite smile indicating for the bill to be paid. After Kakashi made payment for the team's meal expenses, he casually complimented Teuchi, "A trick and a treat eh? What an experience". As the team was walking out the stall, Sakura pointed out that the identity of the meat still remained a mystery. He tenderly smiled and exclaimed, " Come back soon! ", unbeknownst to them, kicked a bloodied sack of unknown object into the back kitchen.
