My Group power is 4.2mil, I am about 300k

Simple there are few condistions to be meet.

First your server must be part of cluster with enabled cross events.

Second your group must win in normal or regular GNW

Third if you won in normal gnw then your group must be in top 8 cross group rankings according to group total bp.

Cross server selects first on your place in normal GNW, and then by power if there is not enough first place groups out of all the groups in your space time cluster.

You don't need to win GNW to go to cross server or have high power, it depends on your space time cluster since they are not the same size. Mine is only 3 merged servers, so every server sends first, second and 2 out 3 third groups based on power. So for example our group always goes to cross server because we have high power(26mil) even if we get second or third place in normal gnw. But the bigger the cluster, the harder it is to go, if you cluster has 8+ servers then only 8 highest power first place groups will go to cross server, second and third place have no chance.

TLDR; you need to look at other groups in your space time cluster, it's different for every group of servers.

Thanks folks, our leader was concerned it may also be a requirement for more than one active groups in the server, but you still can do GNW if there is only one group, so I think this settles it.

Theres 2 scenarios

1) Abundance of groups to form full xGNW bracket

- In this situation, each server well send their respective top placed groups for that weeks GNW, with power as the tiebreaker

eg: a) 3 servers exist in the cluster - top 2 placed groups in each servers GNW will be sent, as well as the top 2 power groups that achieved 3rd rank for that week (the weakest 3rd rank group will miss out since there's only 8 spots available)

b) 10 servers exist in the cluster - only the top 8 first placed groups ranked by power will make it to xGNW, 2 winners will miss out.

2) Lack of sufficient groups

- For this case, xGNW will either be 1-4 or 8. If lets say only 6 groups participated in normal GNW that week, only the top 4 will move on to xGNW, the last 2 ranked groups will have to register for normal war again during the xGNW week.
