Its honestly probably not broken, else they would have offered compensation.
They likely saw that players actually got a good benefit from it and just stopped it.
As soon as something is actually a good deal, Oasis Kills it because else they couldnt milk people for their money as much. This isnt a game, its a money makingmashine for them -
