Mystery: A great support mystery (absorbing chakra, removing immunity) with a new debuff

Battlefield cooldown: 0, Cooldown: 3, Chakra Cost: 20

Torture debuff: Immobilize a unit for 2 rounds, the debuff can't be removed if chakra is lower than 20

Standard Attack: Decent standard attack, especially the fact that it removes def/res

Chase: Immobile is welcome, especially in synergy with his passive

Passive 1: Good passive for a support/tank

Passive 2: This is where he also shines as a support because in a way it can buff your ninjas damage, as you can remove immunity + torture + immobile enemy units even in round 1



Overall I'd say he's a great support with this new debuff, especially since he c*so remove chakra (big counter for Kakuzu etc) and remove immunity

This is an arena team for round 1-2 kills

It won't work very well outside of arena unless you have all positions strong

Actually it does, I totally neglected that sorry

That's why you should use reflect mirror such as Edo Itachi or Fire Main in your team while using him, you could get lucky to put 2 enemy units under torture right away

I assume his passive means 40% damage buff to enemies under immobile OR torture, not just enemies that have both immobile and torture. :)

But is he not supposed to have any "friendly" assist ninjas? all ninjas seem to have 50% effect on him, havent seen a single 100% or above.

what mood is most suited for Ibiki?
He hits with both Att and Nin on all attacks. His mystery deals dmg based on max HP (but I guess its also benefiting from both Att / Nin right?)

Look at his base stats in the character menu, boost what is highest and lower what is lowest.

One thing I think is worth mentioning is that his mystery can damage friendly units.


First unit i've encountered, i think, that can do this.

If you have not selected a unit when triggering his mystery, or if line up his mystery to trigger after your pos 1, and your pos 1 ends up killing ibikis target, ibiki will instead decide he cant continue to live with not getting the spotlight and will choose to commit seppuku by using his mystery on himself.


This happened to me in a few laggy matches in arena, so i went to the kakashi clones to test something out and ibiki can indeed use his mystery on himself or to attack one of your own characters.

Summer Kurenai c*so do this, found out accidentally. I'm not sure if New Year Hashirama also does this since his mystery is in a similar class to Ibiki and Kurenai's. Is this a glitch in how these mysteries are coded or is this intentional? Seems like no reason it should happen.

just tested though and no, hashi doesn't have the same problem, he cant damage friendlies
