People who want merges already are the ones who least understand the game. Everyone who has posted reasons why it hasn't happened are spot on. We get cross server events and PvP later on, tons of new features/events/content to do in between, group bosses that allow you to farm new summons and all kinds of other things.

GNW is only one aspect of the game and one singular aspect isn't enough to warrant merges that will ripple through multiple servers. Plus, if you ever played any other web based game, you would know that after merges you actually lose quite a few people in that too. There are way too many downsides to early forced merges, a lot of which Ari covered, for all sides.

I really don't understand why people are constantly trying to have mods/devs push through content like that. There is a reason the game has lasted so long and that's because the development has been steady and consistent without forcing game breaking change. It's like literally nobody has even a little patience. Just wait and see how cross server stuff and future content shapes out before you ask for something as big as a merge.

you are a hero, because if a server merges we lose our character from the server merge. i have experinced it in the russian version of pockie ninja, and let me tell you they give a lot of gifts on holidays. i mean a LOT!

Many good points are raised as to why some people prefer not to have servers merged, however our wish for server merges has nothing to do with our understanding of the game.

Fair enough there are downsides to server merges. HOWEVER, we are expressing our desire for a server merge, because we want more GNW competition on our servers. U can't deny the fact that there are many servers suffering from a lack of active players and participation in ninja wars is suffering from this.

I ask that instead of coming with downsides to server merges, that the player's request for server merges is heard. As we understand the downsides and simply raise the issue of the increasing amount of inactivity on servers and the lack of participation this causes in great ninja wars.

- In addition to that, great ninja war is argued about as one piece of content. However the lack of groups/players joining in on this event, has a bad effect on many players. We've seen dozens of situations where people quit the group, server or game even, just because there is a lack of participation in great ninja war.

20-30 active players on a server isnt fun, whatever you say.

Well, its not about willing. Its more about possibility.

How you can imagine that? For example, server was created one week before other. Its roughly 2-4 levels and maybe 2k power difference which in game is almost certain victory against same player.

Merging is possibly when both have more or less same conditions. For example, cap level with small difference in creation time. And both doesnt have other way to solve problem. At the moment creating new servers works.

Be patient and have fun with what we have

I don't mind a cross player server, as long as they make it fair and do it with servers that have been opened the same time as the rest, wouldn't be fun for a server to fight one that was 5 days older than them, Makes you think could be a big spender there or tough players. I like to win my seals and so far we have 2 other strong clans to fight in GNW, it's not good or bad, but we maintain it.
