you must not understand what he meant he meant why go through all the trouble of fighting a dude lower them him then all of a sudden finds he has to fight a high bp player if he was going to lose anyways this is one of the unnesary updates i have ever seen dosent make sense.

It's to help the person being plundered. So they have more time to look at the team plundering them and to form a strategy to try to win.

What they said about is true .. Here's the screenshot of the Update Notice that says that changes for Plunder Assisting thing ..

Obviously it is to give the robber hope and happiness, just so you can strip it away by sending in your whale buddy for defence.
