I got him around 2000 coupons , hes not as good as his hokage and jonin counterpart , but still decent if u got kurama Naruto to bond with him. overall hes a 6/10

Never gamble with RNG events. You will most likely end up wasting all coupons and gain nothing in return. Everyone who ever tried to gamble, and found this in hard way, can say same thing.
Also there is few other topics about this event, where players said their opinions.

Situational use. He might be good for example for water nature training event which we have this week due to undodgeable interrupt. Also the best defensive barrier in the game once you get other edo hokages.

He is in jackpot. You dont participate in events with only goal in mind being hitting jackpot. If you want something from redeem section then fine, otherwise dont participate in it at all.

Just wanna add something, you are waiting for them to put Minato Fourth Hokage version in events .. He is now in one of the events, i forgot where but i'm sure there's one where you can redeem Hokage Optional Pack .. If your target is really him then you should go for him and not gamble on something that there's no solid proof that you will get it within your allotted budget for spending ..

Why isn't he as good as Jonin? I read their abilities and compared them and it seems like Edo is just a heavily upgraded Jonin. This goes for mystery, passive, etc.

Without Edo Minato's sb, his damage is weaker than jonin's and the mystery countdown is too long
