- strange stones have awful inflation, so they're not quite worth the grind if you're lacking in time. yes they are useful resources, but the cost is very high. it's fine if you do it for the moon coins/stones but generally bonds is a last-resort event. (the quantity they give is measly compared to dailies, honestly)

- decisive bonds will remain very one-sided for most of the newer players mainly because there are just so many more players in the queue that are stronger than you. so you're a lot more likely to meet people that can 1 shot you, more than you are to meet players of equal or lower power. that's ok. as even newer servers come along, you'll get more prey

- you should be aware that some whales have a routine in bonds, so if you can avoid those timings then you might have an easier time. i find that in my cluster most of the whales complete bonds before 10pm, so i might go for bonds a little later in the day

- if you notice a common team in the queue, you can attempt to adjust your strategy or your lineup to counter it, instead of queueing again with the same losing team. one of my accounts runs pos1 madara5kage for bonds only to deal with edo hiruzen teams

- similarly, you might want to find a different bonds partner if your current one isnt working well with you. pulling a whale along is an easy way to meet lower-powered teams for wins

- also the matching system for bonds is rubbish we're not going to ignore that
