Okay this is just of thought but level freezing doesn't seem to be all that beneficial considering the things you can get when you maximize the exp sources you have. But if you really plan to do it then I suggest just not claiming any of the frogs and not participating in events that give tons of exp to make your level last.

what about first question about equipment upgrade, wha tshould i do about those red scrolls only way to get them is in ninja exam, should i just swipe until i have them all upgraded or

Equipment upgrades are a must and you can just sweep since it provides very little exp.

i get like 160k exp in sweep and like one scroll dunno about that ''very lttle exp'' :D but still it must be done no other way to do it, thank you

I don't think there's ever a need to be so meticulous about freezing, you can easily claim the main character frag's froggy until you get the whole 5* and it won't make much difference.

About ninja exam, if you power up enough you can make it to the respective exams that give those scrolls, and once you do sweep only the necesary times to get all the new equips on your pos 1 (the rest is completely optional), of course you must make it to the higher possible ninja exam before trying to sweep. After all a single sweep up to exam 300 gives around 200k exp (maybe a bit less) x5 = 1m exp, not that bad considering that's what 5 of the last froggys give or what you get for 2 days of fully getting experience from any possible daily, which won't make you level up that easy.

Also i recommend you to lvl up to lvl 80 before starting to freeze, since you have unlocked already all treasures, functions and main character skills, the reason to want to stay lvl 78 when you can't take advatage of lvl 70 sage is out of my understanding.

Note that i actually dislike level freezing, and i don't promote it, but it kind of pains to see people who doesn't even know what they are doing. There's no much gain from it in the current game, and there's too much people doing it now for it to be useful.

This might sound hypocrite coming from a level freezer like myself. But I think level freezing is a mistake and a wrong thing to do now.

This whole lv freezing happened when we first have cross servers sage where most strong people already at max level (highest sage). So lesser strong people started to freeze for adv refine in lower sage. However overtime you can see all 9 sweet spots in all sage brackets filled with strong players. And trust me, there are more than 9 monsters in each sage bracket no matter what level you freeze.

So in order to get that sweet spot, not only you will have to catch up with strong players who probably also spending a lot of money but to beat them and take their place. You are only starting out, I doubt you can do it unless you pay a huge amount of money into this game.

We are at the end of 5.0, there are many ways to obtain adv rune for free that make level freeze not worth it anymore. Another thing is level play a big part in actual fight. The lower level player when fight against a high level player will take level penalty to their secondary stats thus make them a lot weaker than the higher level even if they are on the same power. This happen to me in matsuri all the time, I can't crit or my crit dmg deal very low to people who are at 104 105 when I'm only 84 even tho both side has around 200k bp.

So yes, level freeze nowaday is bullsh!tery, stop listen to those veteran players who probably play years ahead of you. The best way to play the game now is to stop doing plot instance after you unlock all the orbs. Feel free to do all other activities. But unless you are a heavy spender, then sure. Freeze whenever you want.

You simply don't sweep exams. That's price you have to pay for freezing. Maybe at 200+ level once or twice sweep.
Since the point of freezing is adv. refine, the game became more friendly for non freezers after last update, since now you can buy adv. refines at Group Shop. That's around 15-20 refines per week.
I was also freezing, but now i'm starting to catch up with level just because of last update.

I am also a new returning player to the game and had read about level freezing and contemplated doing it after I unlocked all the treasures, but from what I can gather it does not seem to be worth it these days. What do you mean by stop doing plot instances once you get all the orbs? Do you mean the upgrade mats for your gear? Is there any downside to finishing the plot instances all the way out? I am far from it ATM, but I would like to finish the instances.

do it; the only reason why level freezers regret it is because they've levelled up and are now weak; if you're a f2p especially, level freezing is what will help you to become op; everyone here is lowkey trying to make you not level freeze when they know deep down it's the only way for you to succeed. BE METICULOUS; as soon as you hit lvl 75-78 stop collecting stuff focus only on power; save those coupons; get that meta ninja; you've unlocked everything at that point anyways so completely stop getting exp;

i level froze around level 65-70 and gained a massive power boost; right now im at level 74 (after levelling up regrettably) with close to 10k power; i've decided to start level freezing at 75 again completely

to conclude; there are monsters in my sage; syllable lvl 80 with 160k power; the only way to get to their level is by not levelling up and focusing only on your power; the minute you give up and level up, is the minute you start hating level freezing and it's also the minute you become a level freezer hater because you've started to meet people who have more dedication than you and is a lower level :P

As I mentioned before player can get enough adv. refines now that they are in Group shop too, without freezing anything. So there is no must to freeze, because other then some extra refines, there is no point to do so.

lmao if you think people level freeze for advanced refines then you're gravely mistaken; they do it to get more power, the little things like refines comes along the way; the main point of level freezing is to sustain your level whilst only increasing your power; there's every reason to do it than not to not.

the only reason why it's heavily discouraged is because older players who have just steam rolled their way through plot instances don't like seeing lower levels have more power than them; guess you could say it disrupts the balance of highlevel=highpower; then again hierarchy's are there to be broken

Okay, I'll talk a little about my experience

YES, level freezing is very worth, especially in 5.0... why?... You can get alot of adv refines, sun coins; xp in this game it was never good, it is always good to deny all the unnecessary xp you can, because the events that give sun coins most (and adv refines) are the events that are divided by level.

Now with 5.0, it is totally possible to grow in game even freezing. Freezing Level is to think long term, You're going to lose as much and will see everyone grow more than you... But this now, in long term you will be much stronger than the same, because you will enjoy the best events in this game.

Yes you can do ninja exam (carefully), and not claim the daily practice (its much xp and not get many things in return, if you are already with 4 stars character, forget it)

after losing a lot to people from my server, after I was very frustrated, I persisted and here I am. You just need to play meticulously, save and spend your coupons well, and enjoy the events well

Actually its only you who freezes just to own others. And the only event that is lvl based is SWB. Absolutely no benefits from freezing, just to get refines from SWB. What's the diff in other events if you are 100k 80lvl, or 100k 60lvl.
So talk for yourself next time, not for everyone.

The ONLY situation where right now is worth to level freeze is if you are the target of a whale that hates you and plunders you every time just to bully.

This is literally the only reason to level freeze right now.

All the other reasons are no more good reasons to do it.

No man, two great events that exist in the game, which give many rewards, and VERY SUN COINS... its swb and matsuri. Matsuri its based in level too, I see many people who come up, and have a lot of difficulty in matsuri, and even can not complete... I always complete, fast and sometimes without even losing.

Freezing level is more of refine, freezing level is maximize the systems, maximize power in X level, freezing level is to make a good up for your account with only things that are really worth it.

It's very easy to talk that it's not worth it, but I wonder why, bring me answers to what you say, motives, not simply fallacies... if freezing level was not good, I ask you why a huge amount of players do it? I say and I repeat, naruto online is not a game to get XP!!!
