It's better with power items. Ninjas are always in events but decent amount of power items aren't. Major improvement imho.

Even if you want to argue that the power items are better then ninjas, wich can be argued.

That does not justify at 50% increase in cost to complete it and get the top rewards.

They've 30k fuku deals before, this is nothing new. Also, there's still a 20k tier. Stop there if you don't want to get the 30k, the 20k is still fairly good. The bigger issue is that there aren't a lot of good spending options this week.

This fuku deals which gives good rewards at 10k is relatively better than the past fuku deals which gives ninjas. Months before the change, fuku deals was giving out karin christmas fragments and danzo izanagi fragments, which weren't bad but just really two ninjas you would not use seriously. The ninjas being giving out shortly before the change were novelty ninjas or just ninjas you would not use in general. The power change on the other hand would benefit everyone and also alleviates the pressure from players feeling the need to complete the whole 20k or 30k range to get a ninja because the prizes given out this time are good even on the 10k and below range.

To sum it up, the pros for this week's fuku deals is as follows:

- Items that benefits everyone

- No pressure on having to complete the maxing 30k because it is optional

- Freedom to choose how much to spend with little to no consequence

Now for your claims about the 50% increase in the top reward, I think it's just that they made it into a declining scale of prizes the higher range you go into. Instead of thinking that this is a greedy move, let's give the benefit of the doubt and say that they put more emphasis on putting good rewards at the lower range of 10k and made 20k and 30k purely optional. And I say this with the outmost positivity since there have been worse times that the 20k prize is really not worth it but demands you do it to complete the ninja.

Currently you can pick ninja or summon you want to get (provided its in current event cycle) and good chunk of power in addition from fukurokumaru.

Old fuku format forced random and nearly useless ninja (with the exception being gamariki and edo deidara back when he was meta) with pretty much same choice of spending options.

Overall you are forced to spend on good ninja anyway, but instead of lets say 30k worth of pure power items you got 10k and 20k as useless frags. New format is better for sure.

hmm...i disagree. this new fuku has better content than the old one. the 30k is a bit off-putting, but all these power items in the rebate is a dream. besides, i think they're running out of good ninjas to put in fuku deals

you guys just dont know that oasis just nerfed fukurokumarus deal event , especially the 10k rebate one. The amount of myoboku pack got decreased significantly

I was wondering about that. It did seem like I didn't get as much out of it as I did last time and I thought it was because my ninja assist levels were too high. But yeah, the power items had far less impact because there are less of them this round.

You are looking at this whole matter taking for granted the event is meant for your server specifically.

If we look at the deal what we can say is that the 10k tier is meant for new servers while the 8k tier for older ones.

It's a way to balance the things.

That said the lower amount of myoboku packs there is more than twice replaced by the fact in lucky stars wheel there are myoboku grasps in the place of protection experimental vial and by the huge revamp myoboku wheel went trough (now is worth again to spend up to 35 ingots to spin it 6 times, was almost 1 year it was no more wortg it).

Anyways, that said, this fukurokumaru deal is better than the other one IF you are going exclusively for power (like i am doing) or if you want to go for one of the expensive ninjas (like sasuke rs or kakashi susano'o). Otherwise may be worse, but personally speaking i prefer this even if i would like they bring back the 5k tier in the place of the 10k, by leaving there the 8k one.

@Zathroth: edo roshi, hashirama, konan taisho and temari swimsuit aren't at all meme ninjas. Each one of them may be quite useful in specific lineups or situation.

Unless there is a 20k Fuku deals with Kakuzu (we can dream), I prefer the current version, especially 10k milestone.

Also keep in mind that during Fuku Deals before New Year there was no good place to spend for power. Now we have 2 very good places to do it - Lucky Stars with Training Potions and Purchase Limit Shop with Cave Key Gift Packs.
