He's not a position 1 for Arena, easier to use him as a chase magnet than anything. Besides the team he's in is awful

Just remember, Arena is and will always be an afterthought when it comes to judging a character.

There are countless examples of good ninjas being weak in Arena, while others that are bad, being good.

Just to echo and expand on what Tobei said: it is hard to judge ninjas being used in arena, because arena makes it so the playing field is relatively even. For example, ninjas that produce clones and additional bodies are stronger in arena because those bodies are harder to kill, i.e. Kabuto. Where as ninjas that require being stacked to be relevant, i.e. Edo Hiruzen, don't shine as much in arena.

I always viewed arena as assessing the strength of the ninja formation more than the strength of an individual ninja.

Stop looking at individual ninjas, and look at the formation, roshi aint bad if he's got the support, no ninja is bad, in arena, unless ur team doesnt sync tbh, i played with roshi before and i beaten people in arena.
