Sorry to pop your bubble but there is, um in a filler i would say around before naruto was using kcm, he was unlocking it and was fighting a corrupted nine tail chakra, and some guy was doing a new form of edo tensei and edo tensei hidan in that body and edo tensei deidara and some konaha unit i just relook it up and if im correct Naruto Shippuden EP 295 (A filler)
I just checked out that episode, it was no where close to what you were describing, it was more about a giant chakra monster than what you're describing.

Edo tensei its not clone dude xD. Its just bringing the ''soul'' which is made possible with blood or whatever that holds his ADN into a living body.Since his soul isnt in the afterlife you cant bring him into edo tensei mode.FFS its not science is ninjutsu .. edo tensei its not cloning process.
You do realize that Hidan never died right?

Check out Episode 290 of Shippuden at 7:00, Kabuto talks about how he he can replicate genetic data with snakes and then proceeds to * that dagger thingy that controls edo tensei units into the snaky mess, after he does so, "Edo Tensei" Hidan emerges
Edo Tensei itself isn't a clone, its a reanimation.
The method he does there is more akin to cloning than reanimating. -
