They have resources for Hayate in a different game made by the same company. So it's possible. However, I don't think Hayate's shown up in China yet so if he does, it'll take a while.

Same for Genma. I liked Genma a lot as well, I feel like he's a hidden gem.

Part of why I like this game is how minor characters like the Sound Four and the Kage bodyguards are playable, no matter how minor. It would be great to see that expanded, and I'm not only saying this because I've been campaigning for them to add Dosu as playable for pretty much the game's entire lifespan.

I mean Genma has appeared couple times. he even popped out again in the middle of GNW. At least one of these characters should be added for now.

Considering how they did make custom art for him and put it on their Facebook page? Possible. Why would they make that art and do nothing with it?

Perhaps they have something planned...

We already have it's model in-game, since you interact with him.
