It's not about cancelling debuffs but they are immune to rebuffs for the 1st 2 rounds. Are you sure your immunity isn't removed by a ninja that you are not familiar with?

could the immunity be removed by maskedman, han, mei or any other? If not, then i should still be immune. I had root of warrior, 1st round, masked man did his mystery on my jinpachi, and he got affected.

Both Masked Man and Han can take away Root of Warrior buffs.

Mei can't at the moment, but if I recall correctly, in the future, with her skill break, her chase should be able to do that, but for now only Han and Masked Man can do it, out of the three you mentioned. (There's a lot of others like Shisui, BS Kakashi, anyone who's description says "Removes all buffs (usually paired with shields)."

Oh man, im sorry to tell u this - but lightning main is kinda rekt with coming of those cheesy ninjas like Masked Man and Han. So, if u rely heavily on root team, just retreat when u see one of those two. Trust me, I share your pain man.

Just change lineup. Maybe go to han and roshi if your free to play. Easy to get.

Or go with dodge team, they much cheaper than akatsuki teams.

Nope, only on combo, had RoW with Cloud meta (4th Raikage Variant) and it failed to combo my darui who had a shield and root and still kept the buffs.

No, he removes both shields and buffs even without starting a combo.

Jinin just has to hit you for the debuff to take place. It doesn't matter if he combos or not. I've had all my buffs stripped by Jinins multiple times. Also, even if you take into account this ability, Jinin still isn't good. Trust me, I've tried to build teams around him ( he was my second or third GNW rare). It takes very long for him to ac*ulate technique points and he needs 2 or 3 at least to deal good damage.

Not from my experience in Arena Exvius, I had a jinin do standard attack without combo and I kept my shields and RoW. Meanwhile I seen him combo on me and I did lose shield and RoW
