Why is this kushina critting for sooooooo much damage?
I mean her basic attack usually deals 2k damage(2011 to be more specific), and while she crits she deals 8.067 damage...Usually the crits deal about max 2.0x the usual damage, why is she dealing 4x the usual damage??
Is this a bug?

Critical damage is based off of injury rate so maybe whoever you're facing is just stacking pos1 (or whatever pos kushina is in) with tons of injury

Well that's a good theory, except for the fact that i have tested injury with a friend, and aparently a 5k injury difference gives a max of 10% crit damage...so unless my enemy had 200k extra injury, is not injury.
But the test i did helped me draw 2 conclusions:
1.Either injury is not working properly but somehow it does work properly on kushina
2.Injury is working properly, but kushina is bugged
No matter how you turn it, it comes down to one of these 2.
But if you guys have more opinions and/or facts I would love hearing them.

On another note: Why is no one batting an eye?HOW the hell did no one notice yet?Am I the only one who cares, or have you given up trying to get replies from mods?

Read her passive and her scaling. You'll find your answer.

Her passive is increasing critical by 3%...If you check what critical is doing you can see how it clearly states "Increases your chances of landing a critical hit, and decreases enemy's chances of landing a critical hit on you". It was not a discussion about crits, the discussion was about the damage of the crit.

To avoid further nuissances I will tell you my tests:
1.I noticed that when units combo they tend to deal slightly more damage, it first occured to me on 9 tails, when my hashirama would deal with 1 hit 75k dmg crit, but when he comboed, he actually crits for 18.5kX5 dmg that equals 92.5k dmg, so in order to remove this random slightly bigger damage occurance from my test i went with a ninja that does not combo at all(Sailor sakura)
2. I first tested damage of sailor sakura on crits(me and the groupmate had the exact same injury), 20 instance of crit, with an average of 2.5k crit dmg

3. I had my friend remove all his injury from sakura, leaving him with only 600 injury(because of group skills), while i had 5.8k, we noticed that the new average of crits, was 2.7k damage(we double checked, he had the exact same armor and magic resistance as before), from this we drew the conclusion that 5.2k injury difference(Because in this game is all about the difference in stats) would only amount to aproximatively 10% bonus crit damage
4. I do not have kushina to test her damage, but i fought against her, and with her normal hits she would deal 2k dmg(nothing serious), but when she crits...Man oh man, that's where it gets broken. HER DAMAGE RAISED TO AN ASTOUNING 8K....

Now i am a bit of a nerd myself, and i am proud to tell you that i do have a master's degree in Management(It does not make any sense for the case, except for the fact that for my license and master's degree I have learned what you need to do not to taint the results of a certain situation that you want to test(it's called methodology), so my methodology is in good shape)

There are many factors that can go into this. It will depend on the opponent and your stats. The reason why players from the community are talking about the stats that surround critical hit is because that can play a part in the damage.

Just to go over some information:

Critical Stat: Increases the rate of a Critical Hit and reduces the rate of suffering a Critical Hit (this is strictly the chance you can give or take a Critical Hit)

- By doing a critical hit, you do an increased amount of damage.

Injury Stat: Increases a Critical Hit's Damage or reduces a Critical Hit's Damage.

- This stat influences the amount of damage dealt, the more the injury stat is higher than yours, the more damage an opponent can do to you. This will be based on your opponent's ninja's injury stat and the respective ninja you have that is taking the hit from Kushina Red Hot-Blooded Habanero.

Many things can @lso be taken into account to do more damage. Other stats could be Taijutsu and Ninjutsu Pen3tration, which at low BP doesn't do as much, but can account for some damage. Also remember that each ninja has inherently their own specific growth stats (base stats) and this can @lso take into account. It could so happen that the ninja you had was more susceptible to damage, however, without more information as to the level between you and opponent, battle power difference and more specifically, the ninja stats involved, it is just theory. Hopefully this helps.

Every difference of 100 injury stat between ninja A and ninja B increases the damage landed by ninja A on ninja B by 1% on a critical hit. This means, since kushina hanabero hits 3 targets with her mystery that the damage she lands on the 3 targets is not the same and if she is quite high stacked in injury means that may literally nuke move 3-4 ninjas. A 7000 injury difference could indeed justify that level of damage considering the basic damage itself depends on rng and rng factor goes up to ±25%.

2011*2*1.7*rand(0.75, 1.25) = 5128 - 8546. This is the range of damage you could suffer with a basic damage of 2011 and a difference in injury stat of 7000. 8060 is in that range.

That's where you are wrong, my friend.

Her passive enhances critical hit rate, ergo her injury. I don't really know why it is spelled this way here, but i have checked with a few people in CN servers and for them it's the critical damage that is increased with each hit. Basically, the more you hit her, the harder she hit you back.

Finally something that makes sense...Thank you sir, you are one of the few people here that actually are able to take all the facts into consideration, and give an honest answer about the issue, instead of just throwing stuff and hope that something stiicks

Hey man, be respectful with others in this forums .. You asked for something and people tried to help you with what they know and what they think .. If the fact they gave was wrong then just accept it and be thankful that they noticed your query and shared a possible answer for your question .. Not all the people here are perfect and knowledgeable with the whole factors of this game, even the Moderators here are not perfect ..

Unfortunately, too many people spread misinformation unknowingly and this usually cause even more damage, since in the end one can't understand what is the truth and what is just a guess.

Back to the OT: Kushina's scaling is the reason why she is considered a "bad" character in CN. Since she increase her crit dmg, this stat becomes negligible once you aren't critting enough times. But there are far better characters at higher power that works much better than her. So she is in this limbo where she need high power to work properly but at high power she is lacking utility-wise compared to more advanced ninjas.

Jib Edit: Regardless of if misinformation is given or not, I am sure most of the community is not giving misinformation with ill intent. Most are just here trying to help and I think that being kind to one another and sharing knowledge is better than being negative and mean.
