Normal Asuma is considered sword. Wind blade Asuma uses chakra to turn his kunais into swords which is basically the same thing as a Susano'o sword. Hanzo's weapon makes him a sword type and it's very similar to Madara's weapon.

Okay, so we are talking about sword thingy here for the ninjas .. I noticed something too with 2 particular ninjas who are almost identical on how their skill works and chases, even their passives is almost identical .. And i'm talking about Tobirama Senju [Edo Tensei] and Minato Namikaze [Fourth Hokage] ..

Minato Hokage, uses his leaf-like kunai to do standard attacks, and also when he do his Mystery Skill, he throws it above his enemies and launch devastating Rasengan .. Just like in Naruto Shippuden anime ..

But, why does Tobirama Edo Tensei is a Sword User? Whereas, he only uses a kunai too, like minato .. Their Mystery Skill also uses the kunai to launch their jutsus, but when it came to Standard Attack, Tobirama only uses a jutsu where his kunai is not used, but Minato does .. His Chase is similar with Minato Kage's Standard Attack Combo .. And they're using the same Passive Skill Flying Raijin Jutsu .. The only difference between them is their Passive Buff ..

And if i cleary remember, Tobirama used to be a Sword User way back when he is still alive .. He slashed Izuna Uchiha in the Uchiha-Senju Clash (i forgot if its GNW) using a Special Sword Technique - Flying Raijin Slash .. But his Tobirama Kage version is not a sword type ninja .. whereas, he still using sword during the ambush where he passed his throne to Sarutobi ..

Why is that too? ..
