dammnt i mean blue rrefinements i get it but how u guys u have so much high lvl refinements i saved up 280 blue but only 70 pinks and my rank in sage always 2-3 in my server some times 1
There are about 12 sages per month, 3rd place I believe gets 5 adv, that would put you at 60. So 70 is really low for that, meaning you rarely get 2nd or 1st place. It also means you aren't getting it in any event, the current fateful choice being a prominent source.
That, or you aren't saving like you should and are using them outside of rebate events.
I personally have 110, and am gonna get a bit more in fateful choice, I'm going to buy orbs until i reach the extra "victory" rewards. And I only rank top 10 but not top 3 in sages. I had 0 or close to 0 at the end of the last rebate event.

i dont know about fateful choice being the good event to get them since i always get the 5 point like 90% of the times. sage treasure at 30% seems to be the best option still.
I won't bore you with all the math, but as long as the number of orbs you need to buy to get to 750 is 56 or less, This is a better deal. Note this specifically applies to when the event is a full week, the shorter the event is, the worse the deal.
My personal experience is around 50 (this time exactly 50)
90% 5 and 10% 10 would put you around 695 pts w/ this purchase, so if that is your luck, then indeed you won't be able to get value out of this
How many points did you end up with? 90% 5 would put you at 385
