In arena when Ay was a trial ninja, he was a beast.

I had comined him with Yugito, Iruka and Water Main which allowed me to beat people with Susano'o Sasuke.

However, Ay will become an even bigger beast when he gets his skillbooks, giving him 80% leech and using his mystery essentially for 0 cooldown while also increasing his damage.

Ay has Super Armor and likes to bring the smack down!

However the meta more or less changed in terms of play style, pick a strong ninja, then keep that ninja alive is the name of the game.

Roshi and Han are way more usefull and versatile than sasuke or ay and they only 200ish scrolls . They should lower sasuke and ay to at least 500 scrolls . 1000 scrolls for ninja that aren't that good doesn't worth . Ay needs the skillbook and skillbreak to be good , sasuke isn't that good he is outdated . Now everyone use Minato and Mask man meta (who can afford ) .

I don't see ay any better than shippuuden gaara (to be honest i find the latter more useful).
